While I agree that too short shorts are not to be worn by older women, capris are an ABSOLUTE NO! If you want to look like your legs and you for that matter are short and fat then wear those horrible capris! Nothing will make one look older and fatter than a pair of capris.

Interesting that you suggest capris. I'm a fan, but the picture of lots of women together in capris and printed tops does not show them (or the women) to good advantage. I would never wear mine with one of those "old lady" print tops and especially if it's not tucked in. I wear mine with tucked in blouses or tops or my 'oh my gauze' blouse with a deep vee front and back. Sometimes I wear them with a tank or tee (tucked in) and a print (checked or striped) shirt open over them.

I love my white pants from Chicos.. one linen straight leg pair and the other an ankle length slightly more form fitting. I like my black cotton Henley top with slightly puffed short sleeves. I have a new linen blouse from Chicos. It has a water color like print ( white backbround) with sleeves that are folded and buttoned at the elbow. Frayed edges give it a unique and casual look.

Old money is not the Ralph Lauren look. That is a fantasy of what old money SHOULD look like. (Grace Kelly was money, but not old, BTW). Old money does not care about clothes and fashion. Good quality, for sure, but pretty frumpy and shabby based on my experience and research.

Capri? The biggest fashion mistake you can make in any age - it doesn't flatter anybody and is the epitome of frump. Especially dowdy combined with those awfully patterned tops you showed in tip nr.8. The ultimative style- and figure-killer which ruins the proportions of each body. Horrible!

Capris are NO for me.

I can remember my French Grandma saying that she only ever wore mascara and lipstick when young but, after the menopause, she started to give herself a very light sweep of blusher and use a powder and brush eyebrow. I have found that a good move as many women pale with age.

I'm 65. That being said, I think I've always followed these rules - because - my 92 year old mother shows how beautifully dressed women can be! I'm SO lucky!!!

Tank tops are just horrible. I would avoid them at all costs. I am not a fan of the pixie haircut because I think it’s too masculine. I’m not saying that some people don’t wear it well I think Mia Farrow did it the best years ago.

Capris? No thank you. As a 68 yr old woman I would rather wear a great sundress or bermudas . I also disagree with a bold earring as being faux pas.Sometimes it’s a great way to create a polished look with a basic outfit. We older women need to find our own graceful style without bringing back capris.

This video lost credibility with the Meghan Markle references. Her demeanor and presentation is far from elegant and inspiring.

Megan Markle is the worst example you can find ! In spite of her money, she has neither class nor style and always looks messy. So I will not watch this channel which obviously has it all wrong.
