What a beautiful truck ❤️❤️❤️
This might sound stupid but how did you make the wheels stick out a bit? I would like to do the same with mines. Thanks
Do you live across the street from a cemetery?
The rake looks great 😊
Piped in engine noise and everything.
I did the collar perches to fit 37s on my Gen1. I hated the stiffer ride.
I haven't really noticed a difference in ride quality. I wonder if the live valve helps on the Gen3.
@A-RSpeed Maybe , but it scared me away from doing it on my Gen2. Do u need the lift on a 2024 to fit 37s? I thought newer generations can fit 37s due to 37s being a factory option?
You can run 37's on a stock offset wheel. With the 0 offset you need a little more clearance.
Just got my 2024 and looking to upsize to 37s. Do you know what the factory rim specs are on the base raptors with 35s? Planning to upgrade to the SDI eclick system to wake up the live valves and use their front top hats for a little lift but that’s a little ways out. Would love to run 37s in the mean time but not a huge fan of the factory rims. Great video man and looking forward to seeing more!
@mattmackrell2323 Hey congrats on the new truck. I believe they are 17x8.5 with +35 offset from the factory. 0 offset on 17x9 with 37's would likely hit offroading even with the 5° caster and some minor trimming. Mine is pretty much a "mall crawler" with the occasional field or backroad on the weekends. Ive seen people running 17x8.5 with a +12 offset. That would probably be a great option for someone looking for some more poke and not lose the fenders on a jump lol
Ford junk, give me a reliable Toyota anytime
If you did a little research instead of spouting ignorant opinions you would see the new Tundras and Tacomas are having all kinds of problems and catastrophic engine failures
Your fool of shit. I’ve own a lot of fords, had almost all f150s except for limited and raptor and had no issues I’ve even had the explorer sport and now I have the new ranger raptor and I love it
How is the ride quality with this set up ? Do you feel a diffrence ?
I think It might be a litter bit stiffer over smaller bumps, but definitely not a rough ride. It's still enjoyable to daily drive.
hello, sir, we have an amazing product(carplay android box) that I think would be a perfect fit for a car. Would you be open to the idea of creating a video showcasing our product?
Has the ride and handling changed much after the Foutz Perch Collars were installed?
It is a little stiffer, but definitely not bad enough for me to talk someone out of installing them. Still a comfortable ride.
That positive five caster is that just on one side? And if so is that on the passenger? I just got my 24 a couple weeks ago and was thinking about putting 37 inch tires on 22x12s.wheels
You will want to do the +5 caster on both sides to keep the alignment even. I think you're going to be trimming the pinch weld. That's a wide wheel and those typically have a lot of negative offset.
Nice, but I still prefer the factory beadlock wheels
The factory beadlocks look great. I am not a fan of the base wheels that these came with. I prefer just a little more offset and for the money, these are a great deal.
Before the lift kit were there any issues with the tires rubbing? Trying to figure out the largest offset I can get without rubbing. Want to keep the same size tires. Any specific wheel info you have would be appreciated.
There was no rubbing before the lift, but it was getting close to the crash bar. I think a 0 offset on a 9 inch wheel might touch the crash bar in reverse.
On mine I run an 18x9 +20 wheel with 35x125 AT tyres, theres no rubbing even at full lock. I used 2 inch strut spacers in the rear and 1inch in the front for a perfect level
Great Video! Thanks for this. And will be doing a 1.5” on my 2024 as well. 🤙🏼
Pretty amazing Ford having R&D budget of billions and designs vehicles with a certain stance for a purpose and people spend good money to defeat it for no purpose other than just looks! In fact, this 'look' actually is detrimental to the performance but I guess looks is more important than any real performance!
It's still plenty capable for our application on the East Coast. That .75" spacer does very little to diminish performance and impact overall strut stroke. It allows for taller tires, increased ground clearance, increased breakover angle, ect... I guess if you don't like it, don't do it to yours.
@@A-RSpeed No problem bro.... it's all good. It sitll is a good truck and still looks good.
Do you know if you can fit 35’s on it with a leveling kit and an offset wheel?
35's would definitely not fit with +12 on a 9" wheel. They do have a crash bar and I have heard that people are taking them off. That would help. From what I am seeing, most people run an 8.5" wheel and +25 offset or higher for 35's. These 33's only have about a half inch of clearance on the crash bars right now.
Hi. I believe that rubber sleeve / tied own on the live valve at the shock can be moved up the wire so the cable tie can fit around it
Hi, I did try to move it up and it seemed pretty stuck. I might try again to see if it will slide up. Thanks.
Looks great! Give us a tour of under the hood; air filter, turbo, oil filter, etc.
That new rake is prefect!
Do the collars affect anything in offroad ability wise?
I think it could slightly reduce front end travel, but it would be very little.
Have the exact same ordered!!!
I delivered one in that same exact spec
If the brand new raptor could have an a v12… it could be an a plane
Im currently working with my salesman to order mine, exactly same color as yours. How did you get the orange recovery hooks? Did you paint it yourself?
These are just silicone covers. You can find them on Amazon.
@@A-RSpeedthanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for sharing
The exactly configuration I want!
My 2018 5.0 with just a tune with eat that shit up
Big fan of the 5.0, but a $500 tune on an 3.5 ecoboost is going to hurt your feelings.
Lol soo true
It’ll eat up all the oil before it eats a Raptor 😂
@@PlatinumPeasant lol… even with an R on it.. I eat em in my 3 liter lol
Ford literally built a super car and won a world 🌎 championship with a pickup truck 🛻 engine..... That's crazy! Then you got dudes with Ford Taurus SHO's and Ford Explorer ST's gapping people. Ford just does it better.
🐢.
A truck with a V6 is just wrong
That's not your soccer moms V6, bro. Ford's TTV6 motors are nothing to scoff at. Ford won a world championship with that motor on the Ford GT.
I have a Tiguan that will do the same
Who wants that over a Ford????
Reminds me of the old trumpet VQ days
6.something I have a 2001 ram 5.9 gas v8 265HP stock that can do the same
Post it up, let's see it!
Your Ram can’t do 💩
very nice. getting one soon!
Junk
Ford F series trucks are the number 1 selling truck for like 50 years in a row, bozo.
