Yes, Texas, where property taxes are thru the roof compared to California. Median property taxes rose 26% from 2019 to 2023 and are capped at 10% per year. So much for the affordable housing myth Texas puts out.

The property tax is 1.3% and the HOA is currently $450. Once the development is sold out, they expect the HOA to drop to around $350
