Exercise 1: Knee-to-Chest Stretch
Begin by lying flat on your back.
Slowly bring one knee towards your chest, holding it gently with both hands.
Hold this position for 15-20 seconds, feeling the stretch in your lower back and hips.
Repeat with the other leg.
This exercise can be repeated 3-5 times on each side for maximum relief.
Exercise 2: Cat-Cow Stretch
Start on your hands and knees, with your wrists directly under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
Inhale as you arch your back, lifting your head and tailbone towards the ceiling (Cow Pose).
Exhale as you round your spine, tucking your chin and tailbone (Cat Pose).
Repeat this motion for 1-2 minutes, focusing on your breath.
The Cat-Cow stretch can be performed multiple times throughout the day for ongoing relief.
Exercise 3: Hip Flexor Stretch
Kneel on one knee with the other foot in front, forming a 90-degree angle.
Gently push your hips forward while keeping your upper body upright.
You should feel a stretch in the front of your hip on the kneeling leg.
Hold for 15-20 seconds, then switch legs.
Repeat this stretch 2-3 times on each side to relieve hip tension.
These exercises are not only easy to do but also incredibly effective in providing relief from back and hip pain. Incorporating them into your daily routine can help you regain comfort and mobility.
