This was the first issue I had bought as an 11 year old. In the 70s, my pharmacy was notoriously unreliable in what comics were stocked. I never knew this was canceled with issue 4. 😢

The Jaguar was one of DC Impact's line better series... at least for the first 4 issues. Good scripts by William Messner-Loebs, and nice pencils by David William who sadly left after the 4th issue. The art went downhill after that.

such A great lot!!!! And i have MOST of these. I only don't have about 5 of them like all the Jaguar comics. Right off the bat, the NEW TITANS...that's the ONLY issue i have of that series. Great issue.

Appreciate the spotlight on ElfQuest! The original Warp Graphics run of ElfQuest was in black and white. Marvel's reprint of our Original Quest series via its Epic imprint was the first time that story appeared in color in comics format. It was one of the best decisions we ever made, as it exposed ElfQuest to exponentially more people than we could reach as an independent publisher and garnered an entirely new set of fans. Speaking of Marvel, they rejected ElfQuest when we first brought it to them in the late 70s.
