I just love his version ❤
Amazing movie
Despite receiving mixed reviews, the positives about that movie was the stooges in the movie looked, sounded and acted like the original Moe, Larry and Curly.
I absolutely love this movie
I love the scene where Jack is being wheeled back into the hospital room yelling " tell Dr sh&t for Brains ..........."
I absolutely love that movie
And his characters name wasnt even Thomas! Lol
"Turn about is fair play." Masterful phrasing.
That was one dedicated assistant
Yay Sean Hayes!!!
1:56 that is JP Sears.
Sean's s holding on for on for dear life--and just squaks by.
Sean's impressive vocals and the brilliance of Burt Bacharach's melodies and Hal David's lyrics equals a masterwork in musical theater.
he's god
Such a beautiful voice. I am not a fan of the songs in this musical, but the singing is gorgeous.
one of the greatest songs ever
I thought there was a part where you could see sean laughing
Thats college teehee.
Love Sean and never realized how incredibly talented he is and what a great voice❤
He was our pianist at pheasant run.❤
hes a great actor. orbach sang it better
Absolutely adorable!!!! And he’s a phenomenal Oscar… Levant!
So true.
He was also in Hairspray Live. Don’t forget his iconic line in the Cat in the Hat, YOU’RE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRED!
Wow! What a voice!!
Worked with him on stage in Illinois. This kid got lucky...real lucky. He was a lazy actor back then. Still looks rather stiff on stage. But, tv was kind to him.
He didn't look too lazy on will and Grace. Perhaps you should have seen his Tony performance in Good Night Oscar.
I saw Jerry Orbach in the original Broadway production on a high school class trip. I still have the album! What a JOY.
Saw him in it and I thought he was just fantastic!!!! Thanks for posting. And the show was really good too!

Comedy gold! Oh my Lord! I was waiting for that! "And until I get there I will work for Sean & Todd." BAAAH HA HAAA!
I just love when Sean smiles here! 😊 And a good response to the middle finger, saying, "I heard that." Lol.
He said or that
@@kimberly11091 You sure? Cuz we've done that before joking around with that middle finger, and we'd say "can you hear this?" If not, then I'll turn it up. From the upside down position. It sounded like he said , "I heard that. " I must be psychic, I was just thinking of that movie before I seen your comment. Lol.
Did he belt?
Sean is always three words FAB U LOUS
Oh Portlandia. You embiggen us all.
It's one of their most chromulant skits.
“Is that Macy grey?” “I think that’s the champion, Muhammad Ali” “can I get that painting of Sherman Hensley”
Mr. Burns and Smithers lol
2 Jack's in 1 movie...What are the odds?!?
So talented !!
Oh, Dionne Dionne! I hear her voice Everytime I hear this! It was cool and different hearing a man cover it. He did well
Her voice is more in tune with the song's upbeat tempo. Sean sings it more legato. But then who can compete with Dionne Warwick? Any comparison would be apples and oranges.
@@rr7firefly 👍 Agreed.
Just wanted to mention Dionne actually was not the first to sing the song, she was the first to cover it. Jerry Orbach was the original Chuck Baxter in Promises and sang this first. I love Dionne lol I just am a huge Broadway fan and can't not let that be known.
@@that1theatreguy Wow! I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know. 😃
@@that1theatreguy Well, sort of. Here’s the full story: Jerry, of course, had the part. He was struggling mightily with this song in rehearsals and walked off the rehearsal stage saying “no one can sing this sh*t!” Well that didn’t please Burt Bacharach, so he called up Dionne and asked her to come to NY right away. He explained the situation to her. She laughed. Burt booked her into a studio and she recoded this song. The next day at rehearsals, Burt said to Jerry, I want you to listen to this. When it was over Burt said “THAT’S how you sing this sh*t!” When it came time for Dionne to put the song on her own album, ‘Promises Promises,’ she and Burt used the same recording she made to teach Jerry Orbach how to sing the song. True story.
What a voice he has !
i love that “Sean” was like yeah i heard the whole thing do you need me to help?
Sean.has a great voice!!!!!
Incredible
I think were close but I don't think we've nailed it yet guys
I think they’re close, I don’t think they’ve nailed it yet, guys
Who's here after Smartless?
I'm adding a comment.
Excellent.
I wish Sean hadn't hadn't run like that in the Spider-Man costume.
" Just Jack ".
