No more immigrants. We never had immigration like this. Our economy has survived without turning our country into a multi culture state. We don’t want our country and its culture ruined by immigrants who come here because their own countries are dumps and not worth living in.Why should politicians and pundits have the power to override the wishes of the people of this country who provide their labour, pay their taxes.we are and always have been a white populated country.WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO IMPOSE THEIR WILL ON US.?

Political Islam has annihilated every culture it has entered by invasion or immigration. It may take time, but once Islam is ascendant, the host culture becomes extinct. We must learn the doctrine of political Islam, the self declared enemy of ALL unbelievers.

@Jene3377. Our government and politicians are aware of this.I do not understand how they have allowed the situation to develop the way it has.we are a Christian country,we have criticised our own church many times and lampooned it.the Muslm religion is no more important than Christianity. Neither has any tangible evidence of proof of a god.The Christian religion is older than Islam by hundreds of years.

The Tories offered a referendum on leaving the EU. They then spent years gagging about trying not to implement the result. They only acted seriously when they dropped to 15% in the opinion polls. Why should we believe them if they offered a referendum, and why should we believe that they would execute the result? It seems they only take notice of public opinion and adhere to their own promises when they face extinction. And right now not even that. Within a year Labour will be similarly unpopular. Unless you want an endless succession of Governments that ignore the people buckle up and vote Reform.

The British public has voted for lower immigration for decades. But the fact is the Treasury is obsessed with growing GDP and the easiest way to manipulate growth is to import more spenders. Never mind that each individual gets poorer year on year. After voting Tory for forty years I’m am incandessant with fury at the level of incompetence. We need to provoke a seismic shift in politics asap.

What's the point of another referendum when they didn't respect the first one? As it stands right now, from were i'm sitting there is nothing the conservatives to win my trust back. They've had their time, now it's time for them to go. They're no longer qualified to be a main party. I'll vote Reform. They'll close the borders and give us proportional representation. That's good enough for me.

The main thing holding Britain back from growth is Brexit since it's blindingly obvious that putting up barriers to trade with the largest market on our doorstep will hinder growth. The second thing holding Britain back from growth is an insidious form of corruption. Corruption means resources are badly allocated in an economy, people 'invest' in buying influence instead of innovation and efficiencies in companies. In the global south corruption is very overt, you pay public officials to get stuff done that should be done anyway, or you pay to get contracts for work which you never complete to a satisfactory standard. In the UK corruption is less overt, you pay to get your children into expensive schools which guarantee them high ranking places in government and industry, regardless of their actual ability. The net result is the same as in the global south, high ranking positions are allocated through nepotism and connections instead of ability, and therefore there are lots of high ranking people with very low ability, such as Robert Jenrick MP, and a large number of others. The Economist calls this system the 'chumocracy'. Chums hand out jobs and contracts to people inside the gilded circle of chums. It means that resources are misallocated in the economy such that gains go to people based on nepotism and connections rather than actual ability and work. The full power of the intelligence of the nation cannot be used to good effect. So the two best things that should be done to boost growth in Britain is to reverse Brexit and ban fee charging schools.

Hugely annoying listening to smug metropolitan Beeb types trotting out all the old canards about needing migration for the economy, the NHS, etc etc, almost all of which have been debunked, often by Goodwin himself in other contexts, though he's being rather diplomatic here. It's been shown that individual GDP does NOT benefit from migration and in fact migrants exert a negative effect on the country with respect to social welfare, housing etc etc. These are all prepared themes trotted out for public delectation to cover for the population replacement taking place. Anyone with common sense can see that many of those creating mayhem on our streets are not employed - at least formally - and are not of the calibre of people needed to help our economy. The whole thing is a game of smoke and mirrors. We are being replaced.
