This is a classic example of how NOT to introduce a puppy to it’s new home and sibling. Poor thing was overwhelmed. Should have let the puppy sniff around the place first and get a little comfortable and then introduce the sibling.

He really didn't know what to make of it at first. He was checking the bag to see if there was something else, as it surely could not be true. It took him a minute or so, but then the love kicked in. They're gonna be great.

I know there is animal intelligence, so it makes me wonder if the dog felt some form of a literal biological connection between them (apart from the fact they're both dogs of the same breed). I know cats won't recognise any of their animal family from early on later in life apart from their mother, and this includes any siblings born together or later.
