We get confused I believe when we don't grasp the full gospel. Some may put more emphasis on rules, laws at the exclusion of Love, but that doesn't change that God empowers us to love others by also showing respect to boundaries. Think when we say that the 10 commandments are done away with, or that we aren't also to accept them, we are saying essentially that it's not part of God's character. Does it mean we are saved by law-keeping? No,... but by Grace, God gives us a desire to treat others fairly and justly. The Old Covenant concept- had to do with the Israelite's ideas of "how to form a righteous character." they mistook that they could keep God's law at Mt. Sinai,, but they didn't grasp that God was promising to "write his law in their hearts".. He was reminding them of his original Everlasting Covenant with them that had been instituted post the Fall at the Garden of Eden. The 10 commandments in stone were also a reminder of "Who he was" and what's God's like. The covenant hasn't changed. Enoch, Elijah, Moses, Abraham, Noah were not changed into holy men by a different method than Paul, the disciples, etc after the cross. The same Christ who changed them,, also offered his outstretched hand to save, change and mold the men before the cross. I'm wondering that when people say "Heritage Adventism" they are referring to the altered writings of SOP- considered to be EGW's writings.. but were edited by the 6- member committee post 1888 (Comprised of Uriah Smith, Butler, Haskell, WC White, Waggoner - father of the EJ Waggoner, and one other).. who altered her books, Great Controversy 1888 printed in the US (not Australia's version- which she also did one, but it was in actually printed in 1890), and then the testimonies some (altered by Prescott substantially). Think this is one reason we see conflicting statements when it comes to prophecy even and the 7 trumpets. Froom, we need to remember was part of the committee also in later years who altered her statements in Evangelism. With the greatest respect to Stephen, a prophet doesn’t need time and other people to help work out the visions. God is clear in His message to the prophets of the Bible. He gets it right the first time and chooses people to speak His Truth clearly and accurately from the first telling. No muddling it, no confusing it and no adding to it. There seems to be lots of confusion over the messages ‘from God’ via EGW. As I always say - I’m sticking to getting the Word of God from The Bible.

If EGW truly knew the gospel before she died, she would’ve confessed in her last letter, asked for forgiveness and recanted all of her works. Even if there was an ounce of truth in any of it, the compilation of her work overwhelming outweighs even any speck of good intentions.

I really don't understand Stephen's position regarding the Sabbath. On one hand, he acknowledges that worshippers on the Sunday are keeping the Sabbath eternally if they are believers in Christ. But on the other hand, he's saying that it's necessary to follow the physical literal sabbath day as part of the 10 commandments (2:02:30)? According to Gal 4 (Sarah vs. Haggar), you're supposed to "drive out the slave". Meaning you're not supposed "be friends", "room mate" or rely on any kind of hybrid relationship with the old covenant to improve your standing with God/salvation.

Peter, at 2:26:14, you keep telling Stephen what SDA must believe and teach---but Stephen is still SDA and he can believe whatever he wants. It would be like telling a Baptist that he can't get around the verses in the Bible that say don't mix wool and cotton--and insisting that the Baptist must disavow the Bible and quit his church since his church teaches literal Biblical inerrancy. You have to let the people in the religion define it--and Ted Wilson doesn't get to define SDA for everyone else; he isn't the pope even though he might like to be.

If God is God, it will take Him a nano second to make ALL His judgments on humanity,if He chooses to do so. Not some drawn out process beginning in 457 BC and ending who knows when or how!!

This presents a very interesting question for all Adventists. Which Church do you prefer to be a member of? *Would you choose the Church Christ established while on earth,* Eph. 2:20, "built upon the Apostles and the Prophets" and vowed to remain with "even unto the end of the world" (Mt. 28)) or the one Ellen G. White established while on earth and is dead?

I grew up in Adventistism and my father and grandfather were SDA pastors. I did not write a letter when my husband and I were baptized Orthodox in 2021. All my family remains Adventist. I left due to the continuing creep of progressive theology in the church. The body of Christ is not to be found there and the obfuscation of Trinity theology was a significant reason for looking for the Apostlic Tradition. Lord have mercy. 🙏☦️🙏

Gal 3:19 says there was ADDED another law because of sin entering the world that would reveal Jesus as our our Sacrifice and Priest.until Christs death on the Cross. It is these temporal earthly sanctuary laws and sabbaths or feast days that have been changed after the Cross. Jesus is still our High Priest in the three sanctuary in heaven of which the earthly was but a copy Heb 8:1-6. The earthly Priests and Sabbaths have served that pointed to the coming Christ have served their purpose and have been abolished . This is the law that has changed . Prior to the 2nd coming all sin will be blotted out Acts 3:19-21 and the sanctuary will no longer be needed. Jesus is not coming back as a sin bearer or Priest. Heb 9:28,29. He is coming back as King of Kings ans Lord of Lords and sin will rise no more Nah 1:9.1Cor 15:50-55. God kindly gave us these sanctuary laws to get rid of our sins and stop us from getting what we really deserved -eternal death. Gods eternal law will be kept by all people after on the new earth Isa 66: 22,23 for eternity.

I truly don't understand what you're really looking to accomplish. You know what I believe it is? I feel that you guys want us SDA's to believe more in what you guys say, than what Ellen G White has said. Steve Daily was ejected from the organization and you both are just people with a lot of bitterness in your heart. Why don't you just do God's word and start preaching the Second Coming or our Lord Jesus Christ. You both are complying with the command to go out and preach Jesus to the world. A real adventist will never be convinced by what people like you have to say. What do you gain by doing this? You people accomplish a prophecy that the worst enemies are not outside the church but inside the church. Your best quality is disqualifying others that know better than you guys. I just want to correct your error in the definition you shared on the Greek word "entole" which you stated could only to Jesus commandments. This word cannot only refer to Jesus commands, as in the Old Testament ***it is used 64 TIMES, for God's laws, statutes and precepts etc.!*** You had a commenter, obviously a dinosaur, living in the 1900s, who supposed you can only find Greek definitions in "books"! That comment was hilarious! Major Greek Dictionaries, Lexicons etc., can all be found online. Where has he been since the "turn of the century" and the beginning of the internet age??? Here are some of the occasions from the Greek OT, the Septuagint, where word "entolē" occurs, obviously not referring to Jesus, but to God's commandment, laws, etc: Leviticus 6:2 - that which was delivered (Hebrew: piqqâdôwn) Deuteronomy 16:12 - statutes (Hebrew: choq) Deuteronomy 17:19 - law (Hebrew: torah) 2 Chronicles 12:1 - law (Hebrew: torah) Nehemiah 9:14 - precepts (Hebrew: mitzvah) Nehemiah 10:32 - ordinances (Hebrew: mitzvah) Proverbs 15:5 - instruction (Hebrew: muwcar)

There is a lot said about keeping the Sabbath day or Sunday.and the idol Adventists have put up by keeping the Sabbath of the commands . The true idol sabbath is Sunday worship because James 2: 10 says if we break one command we break them all which must mean by breaking the 4th command you are also making an image of the 2nd command and also swrving another god the 1st command . Isa 59: 2 says if we sin (.disobey God) we become separated from Him and will be in darkness Isa 8:20 . If people cant see the light can we really believe in what they are saying ???????

After this interview, my view of the gospel has been broadened. I think I was searching for a simple way to explain the gospel of Christ, and I was maybe trying to boil it down and reduce too much. This interview is really something I will study. Thanks again for this high quality interaction. I love the fact the Frank has taken a stand regarding his status in the sda church...but hasn't become bitter and attacking. Good stuff.

Sorry I couldn't watch this live but have now had a chance to watch. Could not agree more with Frank......especially about the beauty of being if fellowship with others, in community of believers that have a mixture of differing opinions but working for a common cause, the cause of Christ - to love others as He has loved us and share the love of God with others.
