I'm in my late 20s and for years I've had unusually high blood pressure, typically around 145/90. I'm overweight at 240lbs. I stumbled onto this video purely by chance, but I've adjusted my diet according to it. It's not even been a week now, and for the first time in my adult life, I recorded a blood pressure of 125/79. I've never seen it below 135. My inflammation has decreased notably, and my sleep has been incredible these past couple nights. I finally know how to heal my body! I'll check back on this with weight loss results later! :D - Thank you, Dr. Knobbe!

I'm confused. I don't want to lose weight. Just be healthy. Every thing I watch about Keto is linked to weight loss. I understand that it comes to a end as no one can lose weight forever. I understood ketones are good for the body in many aspects, specially to the brain. Is it possible to run the body in ketones for good? Can I keep keto diet forever?

  • @jolantagoetter6224

I don’t know about others but I feel good after 2/3 days fasting. And I do that if I feel unwell, either cold/flu or just something else… But if I try to go beyond that I start feeling dizzy and weak. I’m 61. I like my carnivore power at the gym. So, that is that 😊

I have heard that most everyday 7th day Adventists are not vegan. (from Christian TV) If they follow the the Bible, God told the people to eat meat, and greens. Not wheat. I also heard that originally they were also to eat meat at least once a month. If they still practice this then they are just a little bit vegan. 😊😊

  • @Ariella-mx3xq4cw6n

Ginkgo Biloba reduces clotting in the blood and is far safer than statins. I found out if I took a Ginkgo everyday, I discovered my blood had thinned, even the nurse who took my blood asked if I was taking aspirin. I did trials with myself and found alternate days kept my blood really nice. No phlebotomists/nurse/doctor has mentioned anything abnormal about taking my blood.

I did a carnivore stint of just over two months to resolve severe constant stomach pain, bloating, reflux, IBS, brain fog, and low energy. Within a month 90% of my issues had resolved but I kept going because I knew I had a leaky gut from 60 years of high fiber and enormous consumption of vegetable, fruits, and large amounts of oatmeal daily. I have added some carbs back in but still in ketosis. I would rather have variety if I can tolerate it. I had a large serving of steamed vegetables today and was left with a stomach ache for about two hours. Thats not a valid data point or experiment but if my stomach problems begin to creep back I will cut out the carbs and go back to the carnivore with the confindence that I now hold the magic cure. It all started with my Wellness Doc exposing me to Dr. Chaffee and Dr Ken Berry. I owe my current good health to these poineers.

I don't know what to think as this man keeps changing his stance. A few years ago he mentioned in a youtube video that the avoids cheese etc as he likes to get his fat from meat. But he recently mentioned that he likes to eat high quality cheeses. He also mentioned a few years ago that he avoids carbs but in his latest insta post he mentions he eats sweet potatoes and white rice for dinner. Seems like something in his blood work or imaging reveal that it was critical that he needs to add some carbs to his diet? he should talk about why he now has a sudden change of heart for carbs otherwise its just confusing with the information that he comes out with.

What prevents me from being an advocate for the keto or carnivore is my own health. If I can reverse my own health I would be a shining light for carnivore now I will just be a ketovoir

I went on the Atkins Low carb diet. 0 carbs for 2 weeks and then only 20 carbs a day max after that. I lost 80 pounds in 6 months and ate till I was full every day. My cholesterol went from 240 to 150 eating Stuff like eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese for breakfast and steaks, fish, chicken, and big salads with full fat dressings, and lots of green veggies with butter and salt. My doctor asked what I was doing to lose weight. I told him and he told me I was going to kill myself. I never felt better but took his advice and went off the diet. Within a year I gained the weight back. A year after that I went into the doctors office for a check up. Low and behold the doctor, who was also quite a bit overweight was thin and trim. I asked him what he did to lose the weight. He said he went on a low carb diet!!! I said the same diet you told me was going to kill me? He said yes, and that upon researching what I told him he admitted he did not know the full story of low carb diets! No wonder they call it a medical PRACTICE! They keep trying till they get it right!

It is ironical that these government bodies in charge of public health have name like NICE and claim to stand for excellence, but their record is abysmal. Absolutely diet is crucial to good health, but another thing that doesn't get enough attention is all the chemical garbage we rub on our skin as cosmetics, skin softeners, shampoos, everything. So many fragrances and cosmetics contain disease-causing endocrine disruptors, as do commonly used cleaners/degreasers and plastics. We didn't use this garbage 50yrs ago.
