Really good vid for fb info 👍🏽
I have your book of defense but can not download your app how can I get pack line defense drill
i just started coaching and i thought about whether i should stand or sit, 😂
Great video 👌
Here from rdc
the last part about not fouling and keeping your body low is nice however good defenses are ALWAYS reaching for the roof ;-)
Zoom action!
Why is it called "rip"?
Question for yall. Why wouldn’t you switch ball screen, dho and pin downs? If you go over them the will curl/drive and surely it means a paint touch… or if they tag the curl/drive we get in rotations and an open 3. Can someone sell me on the “over” the pin down/ball screen to still protect the paint and cover kickout 3s. Thanks
I've been coaching this for years & I make this decision based on each opponent's strength & sometimes the personnel I have on the floor. I'll always switch guards because the matchup should be about the same. If the screen is trying to get a mismatch, we play under & maybe ice the screen if my 2nd defender is a big.
My son's travel soccer coach asks questions instead of barking commands. He includes "What do you see?". I'm going to use this strategy with youth basketball this winter.
01:33 how is that not a travel?
I don’t understand, are we supposed to force them to the corner or to the middle?
Force it up the butt
What do you mean with “Spike the ball”? Where can I find an example(video)?
This was helpful
Looks like a fun drill, I will try it next practice.
Great video. Is the app available on Android?
1st back screen, 4 to 1 is just a cut not a screen.
Can this offense be taught to middle school with a three guard push pull base?
I love this guy so knowledgeable and just fun to watch great personality and very funny . It must of been a wonderful experience to play / learn and coach for him . He’s a true master of his craft . I’m glad he makes content it has helped me . Thank you
I feel the same way about Mr. Bob. Out of genuine curiosity, are you a coach or student of the game?
Lol. You showed a uva clip to start. Then followed with a bunch of dive and fill zone offense.
This is great coach. I’ve always struggled with being too passive on the court. This shift in mentality has changed my game 💯
Pls I don't get it
As a hockey fan, this is why I can watch college basketball from time to time. Full court press and forechecking are essentially the same thing, players working hard to cause turnovers and create opportunities. It's fun and exciting. I can't stand the NBA and have never understood its appeal. The players' egos are too big to play a full court press.
i love it
You have zero idea what you are talking about, they aren’t running 5 out sets on half of these. The corners are actually crucial for spacing so you wrong there as well . Your voice is annoying AF also. GF
This is called a shell drill.
I would rather watch paint dry. Horrible basketball, sets the game back to the 1920's. Garbage.
This defense is very personnel dependent. You will need a team of long athletes that move well for this to be most effective. And honestly any defense works if you have that
I like your perspective. Something I've thought about for a number of years. Thank you!
What if you move your 4 back during the inbounds instead of deny the pass? That way they're not running back to hurry and trap the inbounds.
Flex Entry
My son (7) has played in different leagues with different heights and number of players. The best was 4 on 4 on 7' 6" rim. More touches, more flow, more scoring.
tyler
whats great is this mentality also is good for an overall team offense. Quick decisions leads to great offense, instead of being a blackhole on offense. edit: he mentions this later on lol
22 years ki hai exercise kis tarah karni hai
Operation ke kitne din bad exercise shuru Karen bataen
Did it ever work?
This is the best defense against this generation of drive and attack offense. But teams like Gonzaga and teams with multiple shooters will give it problems. I think it is an excellent defense at the high school level..
Can you run this if your outside shooting is just average at best? If not what do you suggest? Can you just emphasize more of the dribble drive aspect? Do you have to have the perimeter post drive everytime, is that ever guards diving?
I had a coach who was like this, it was so bad that he made sure that I never competed in meets so i didn't see the point in doing cross country anymore and i left.
Please dont give up but join somewhere else 💪
This dudes a legend
In the video the cross screen is taking place at the foul line but in your diagram the cross screen action is on the low block. Do they do both out of different alignments?
,
Never understood what this Def actually was till this video thank you.
Is this just me or is this a 3-2 zone?
It's not just you. Yes it's a 3-2
Thank you a lot. Overloading is key against zone d. My favourite combination is 1-3-1 cuz it's has no picks.
Barcelona style is really. legacy Ajax style done in a Spanish rendition - it is a total soccer approach
