FINALE Episode 23: A Celebration in Song, Spoken Word & Step
All good things must come to an end, so please join us for our FINALE Episode 23: A Celebration in Song, Spoken Word and Step -- an evening that shines an inspiring light on Quebec's diversity and intergenerational connections.
Performers include The Montreal Steppers, who use their bodies as instruments to deliver a youthful, high-energy art form that is rooted is Black History and tells stories of Black Resilience and Black Excellence. Viewers will also enjoy a special performance by the legendary Québecoise singer/songwriter Patsy Gallant (TAG), who at 73 years young, will sing a combination of classic favourites and a new self-penned women's anthem as well. The A.D.A. Flamenco trio explore the mystery, beauty and captivating energy of traditional Spanish flamenco through their code-subverting, contemporary aesthetic. Singer/songwriter Andrea Lindsay (TAG) is the first anglophone to ever win the Juno Award for Best Francophone Album of the Year, who will perform the theme song she wrote and recorded for the web series, with some surprise young guests joining her on stage -- who have appeared in every episode of the series.
A very special thank you to YOU, our amazing audience who have supported our mission throughout the year to bring light, connection and joy to seniors during the pandemic!

Neat lady, enjoy her books, great friends
Astonishing video. I just your books after watching the TV series on Amazon. The characters are fantastic. I love Ruth so much. Thank you for the books and your lovely video. Be happy Louise. Love from Arizona
Oh how beautiful pictures. 💕🙏🇳🇵
Love this❤
We still need to be protecting ourselves and others with this mutating virus with continued mask wearing and careful with socialization. What’s lovely is how Louise creates community for us in her storytelling. Heartfelt applause and appreciation. This is my first time on this channel. Thank you so very much for providing a platform that gives your guest speaker the entire time. I feel like I’m having coffee with Louise Penny and selfishly enjoying her all to myself. Genius🎉 The intro is lovely ❤ with the young artists.
I love your books and I always relate to your places and people . You are really very special person May you be blessed Suzana São Paulo. 🇧🇷 Brasil
This was a really great class thank you!!
This was fabulous! You are great Barbada!
Oh my God! The “I’m FINE” mask just made my day. I need it! 🤩
This is really amazing, Joel. We've been doing this for more than 10 years already, and there is always something good, and new to us day by day. Thank you very much for sharing. Stay connected, dear Joel. Cheers.
She's got to be related to Meryl Streep!!!
Your good at this !
I love Patsy Gallant!
What a lovely interview! I have not read any of your books yet but you have inspired me to do so! Merci mille fois de La Colombie-Britannique!
Gorgeous woman. But Canada has handled this pandemic horribly. Bloody commies.
Enjoyed the interview toughly. And looking forward to reading the other books in the series. A Stab At Life was an easy read that will keep the reader engaged. Its nice to see where the author gets his inspiration and rightfully so. At the time of writing this I'm sure Mr. King had no idea about the upcoming pandemic that would obliviously, (from the strong emotion Margret expressed in the interview) place even more strain on a heavily under budgeted system and its valued workers. The pandemic actually exposed the faults in the system that nurses were already ringing the bell about. Overloading workers and not hiring the staff needed to handle the overflow. It's now forced labor and Quebec politics are inventing ways not to hire nurses with the (right criteria) even adding more strain to the shortage. Thank you Margret Quinsey and your coworkers for your sacrifice during this pandemic and before. Now I'll go and start that second book in the series.
I love you so much and forever, Richard!
Your books are bringing me joy. Yes, mostly they just make me happy BUT occasionally when reflecting upon a certain passage or sometimes one of your characters, joy will give me that little kiss that you described. Thank you.
Nice to know you hanna
