ty for psting- love it
I knew FSA photographer Jack Delano in Puerto Rico.
Thanks for that interview, there are nuggets of super valuable information in it. What Dean says at min30, is such an eye opening pearl. Thx again.
This was a good summary of those artists.
that was outstanding and emotionally compelling, I now look at dean Mitchells art in a new way, thank you for sharing this.
Pushing transgender art should be a crime. This stuff is gross.
This was absolutely fabulous! I’ve loved Mr. Mitchell’s work for some time now, but to hear him talk about his work, the importance of the creative mind and the interplay between art and the world; his thought process behind his paintings and all that he’s trying to communicate…he’s electric in his passion! Thank you so much for sharing this video. I don’t believe it took me this long to find it!
I stopped by Mary and Tyrone’s house the other day just outside of Tallahassee FL. They are really good people. Stop by…they’ll be happy to sell you some great art.
Congrats to the winners
canson inc. award is i think mis judged. its just a scratch mixed colors
Sorry but a there is no such as warm against cool colors in luminousity, its dark against light, light against dark, and the vibration of under painting trying to over power the over layed color by the under paint pushed up by the whiteness of the paper, on that piece, i didnt see it, no focal point, surprisingly what is tge subject or the substance of that, its a mere spectra of colors, as my observation opinion. but Congrats !it won.
❤❤️❤️❤️🙏👏
Very well done. Informative.
Beyond the Familiar is an amazing visual journey! Thank you Terrie and Chuck Corbett!
118. Gold is awesome!!! . see my art too. thank you my friend.
Wow...what a Master teacher within and his works presented outside of himself! Thank you for being you, Dean MItchell! As a Contemplative Psychology undergrad in my first semester returning to college at 60 y/o, w/an elective course in Watercolors, I'm elated to 'stumble' across you and your work. I'll be presenting your life and your work to my class as inspiration. Thank you!
Michael Holter, Z.Feng, Karen Schaaf, Alicia Farris, Dean Mitchell, the best from my point of view.
These are all amazing paintings. I’d love to see the work of the individuals who choose to leave tasteless negative comments. SMH.
They're beautiful. I'm looking at the best of show by Dean Mitchell, titled Hidden, and interestingly I can make out several faces in the top of the tree. Just a little creepy LOL
Excellent show..I appreciated all your choices…beautiful, skillful and original work…thanks
Seems like a completely different watercolour painting culture to here in the UK, or maybe these particular awards are more about realism? With the exception of the Dean Mitchell - where there's some of his personality, it's all rather disappointing.
Excellent czcams.com/channels/fC9zz294kItyxk1uDnJ1YA.html
His depiction of poverty is beautiful.
Clyde is treasure trove of photography knowledge, in more ways than simply technical. I had two profound photography revelations watching this video. Thanks for sharing it.
Wonderful presentation and thank you so very much. RS Canada
Thank you for the detailed video, done very well
Beautiful work, smart artist. Thank you for your work.
most of these are so hyper-realism i have to wonder: "where's the art?"
See photo. Reproduce photo.

I enjoyed the video, can’t wait to check it out in person. Love the “follow the moon” theme.
Nice 👍
As always, thank you for your amazing content and your continued commitment to the Quincy community. This talk was amazing. It was great to hear Dean speak so candidly about his upbringing, his career and the role his race has played in his career. AMAZING!
I do love a good basket to keep things organized, and apparently it’s part of our DNA since baskets go back thousands of years. 🧺🧬🦣
Especially enjoyed Barbara Balzer's works. Overall a fine exhibition, as usual for Gadsden Arts Center.
Thank you. Very much enjoyed the exhibition. In particular Barbara Balzer'work.
Nicely done.
Thank you very much for that! How interesting. Off to your website pronto.
In addition to the beauty of her skillfully executed artwork, the commentary of the narrator was wonderfully engaging. Thanks for sharing all of this!
Beautiful work! I love Sharon's reason for working and salute her discipline and commitment to drawing every day and working to protect nature every day. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you, Gadsden Arts Center and Museum, for allowing the Artists Guild this exhibition opportunity! It's an honor to be a part of your organization.
These are beautiful and I’m surprised to learn he is a self taught artist .
Love this! I enjoy hearing the ideas behind the artistic process.
This video was a fine representation and explanation of the work in this show of Mr. Richardson. I really enjoyed the show and now that I have seen this video I can appreciate the meanings behind the work. Thanks.
I really enjoyed the work and the reasons behind the creation of these beautiful paintings. Thank you.
The last one is great and endless
Well done!
Wow, Dean went to the same college I did, I graduated the year before he started so I never met him but I also knew what it felt like nearly being tossed out of school my senior year because I was late coming up with my tuition. Looking at his work I see he also got a case of "The Dean Canzani Gray Blues" that's an inside joke to anyone who went to CCAD and had Dean Canzani for "Color Concept Class". I don't have very many fond memories of the school, they worked the livin' hell out of us and showed no pity to struggling students... you either "cut it" or you were out. I remember we started out with the largest freshman class ever accepted into the school at that time, there were 278 of us, when I graduated there were only 34 of us left standing and only 6 of us who were in the Illustration Department which was the toughest major of them all. I remember asking my English prof. why they were so cruel to us students and he said with a grin that it was their way of preparing us for the real world.
