To get an orca booster fully trained to be good will take about a year including all the extras you need e.g fitting and industry core etc, 2 years to really round out a boosting orca ice miner

1) Don't buy what you can't afford to lose. Cliché, I know, but true both in EVE and in real life. 2) Don't anchor any structures with your main corporation. Create a sister corporation (a holding corp) and just give your corporation (exclusive) access through standings. This makes it so your main corporation can't be the target of a structure based war declaration. 3) Don't let anyone tell you what to do, except in fleet. You consented to taking orders by joining the fleet. You can retract consent by leaving the fleet. 4) Similarly, you consent to working with other members in a corporation towards the goals set by the corporation by joining that corporation. If that corporation or some members are causing problems for you, take it up with leadership and/or HR or leave. 5) If point 2 isn't possible or you get into a war another way, don't let a war or pvp scare you. It's an essential part of the game, even if you're a snuggly carebear. Undercutting someone else's prices on the market is PVP. Mining in a belt that someone else thinks is his is a form of PVP. Both those things can lead to escalated conflicts, but conflict doesn't require a rational reason. Some people do it for fun. Some people do it for ISK. 6) Don't just make friends. Make allies. Allies who can help you in a war. If you're a mainly industrial corporation, chances are you're not gonna have a lot of good PVP members. That's perfectly fine. A lot of PVP corps can be hired. If you don't have the ISK, you might be able to promise fuel blocks, ammo, paste, ships or something else for them for a specific period of time. A promissory note of sorts can go a long way. 7) It's your responsibility to understand basic diplomacy. Standing information is available to you. If you fail to understand the lay of the land and its people, that's on you. 8) You were always a solo nomad, you just failed to realize it. Stop blaming other people for your problems.

Proteus, Onieros, Guardian, Legion, Vindicator, Thanatos, Bhaalgorn, Vigilant, Hulk, Orca, Ishtar, Deimos, Occator, Obelisk, Astarte, Stratios and Astero. If I HAD to pick a favorite, I guess it'd be the Proteus, but its a tough call. Each ship is so good at what it does 😃 Oh and the Navy Dominix was a great ship too. A properly setup spider fleet of those babies was an awesome site to behold too unless it was hunting you 😂

I played from 2006 to 2013. I was Gallente, was talked into joining friends from around the world playing Battlezone II at the time. Great group of guys. We were corp mates throughout most of my time in EvE. We did everything from missions to null sec and wormhole space. PvP and PvE usually in fleet. We fought wars together, own space together, learned from and taught each other, etc. Good times. 👍 I wonder if Katarrin is still in the archives 🤔 I was an armor incursion fleet commander for the last year or so. Got to know quite a few people from around the world 🌎 Used to be a fun game for sure. We did mine together as well. Mining in unknown space was HUGE. I owned a Hulk, not completely fully skilled and an Orca. I was more into military skills to focus more on keeping us safer. Mining was good for when one just wants to relax, listen to the tunes and convrse. We didn't really have rules, we just got along well together and always agreed what we were going to do when.

Very similar to incursions. You can make 100m/hour, or 200m/hour in good fleet and you love that but after that, once the fleet is gone or if there is no fleet during that day I just had nothing to do.

And alliances is a number one reason why Eve has never got really that big it could be so much bigger, but alliances have destroyed. It destroyed the economy.

Suggesting that someone mine in Pockven in a Prospect is INSANE! 300 million ISK ships?!!! You are mining Bezdnacine which sells for around 20k ISK per. You are mining 42 units with about a 60-second cycle time. That is 50 million ISK/hr, MAX not including hauling time. There are FAR MORE safer and lucrative opportunities in highsec! Pretty low-effort baiting IMO TBH. Pockven too dead for you right now?!!!

A little help pls. I am an alpha player and new to eve. I would very much like to enter pochven through some place called senda. I still dont know how to enter any low sec area without a gate since I am not able to "set destination," to senda system-on the map. My apologies if this sounds like very basic stuff, but could you please guide me on how to get to senda system? I am actually looking for wormholes to pochven, which are supposed to occasionally spawn in this senda region.

I've played eve since 2008. After 2011 I decided I would only play 5 6 months a year in the winters only. After a few years of that with a single account, I just didn't find fun in the game anymore. U til 2018 when I decided the only way I'd find joy was if I could plex my account, making the game free. But only way to efficiently do that is with much more than one character. So o opened 5 more accounts and paid out of pocket to build them up. I havnt spent a dime on the game since. I find so much joy in now being able to do virtually all the content on my own if I so chose. It gave me confidence to explore more avenues. It gave me thr ability to never break another rock again and to lesrn the market which I fell in love with after never having a billion of spare isk to making over 35 bil in one month just ratting and selling loot. Taking a break from eve is literally what we all do every few months. Usually you lose your most expensive ship to user error(those hurt the most) or you get into an argument with a mate, pr simply RL comes first. But there is no other game like eve and probably won't be. So don't swear it off for forever. Wait for the next sale or next free week, go do something else. Play something else. I wish you the best fam, fly safe in whatever your next venture is.

You are falling into the classic "minerals that I mine are free" trap. Mine some ore, check what you get if you reprocess. If you are 5/5/4 with an implant you usually get more for reprocessing, so great, that is stage one out of the way. But then, it sounds to me like you are saying, because I mined the ore myself, the minerals are free so what ever I manufacture is pure profit. That is the wrong way to think about it unless you just are in love with manufacturing and that is all you wanna do. You should now compare the true market value of the minerals with whatever it is you want to manufacture. If the minerals are worth more, then sell them and buy whatever you were going to make and you come out with more isk. You miss out on the "fun" of clicking on some buttons in the Industry tab, of course, and if that is what brings you pleasure and joy then knock yourself out. But at least explain that when you are doing your vids or people will think your a bit daft.

I just use a badger to scoot it out of pochven. Even bare with no modules, you can transport 600M ISK of bez, and with modules can be higher or set up to travel fast and cloaked.

You keep saying you're aligned, but you're not aligned. being aligned means you're moving towards the destination. Sitting at 0.0m/s isn't aligned to anything, but it is the correct thing to do since you'll stay in range of the asteroid and have equal time to align to whatever direction your warpout is.

If recording with OBS, you can seperate recording the audio channels so the SMT alarm isn't captured by using the Application Audio Capture source.

Why are you using Miner 2's. I thought you are a dedicated miner. You can use T2 B's on that stuff.

at about 41760m3 per hour , think it would be 52 m isk per hour tops, not including ore haul trips to station, which i assume last a couple minutes round trip. think you could be doing something better with your time.

If your looking for something that is pretty low commitment and a change of pace joining pirate faction war is pretty profitable. You can just enlist and leave when your done (24hr cooldown) and the money is really good and you can do some small gang/solo pvp.

I do respect different ways of playstyle especially real life more important but yet you choose to play with big expensive ships in game in high risk scenarios. So giving up on null just because you dont have time to continue doing this.. its just natural selection to me because it is a PVP game with alot of unvoluntary PVP, people either forget what it is or are just blindly stupid. Nullsec can be good enough for everyone, the game has its ways to keep players modest and not just pile up on afk minecraft activities.

Similar scenario , sold my house in the city to move in to take care of grandparents and their farm along with my roofing company blah blah blah long story short, too busy and it gave me similar issues : -no time -no energy -not able to commit to any roams , even short ones -not even able to commit to gate camps -Can't join comms without being asked 900x who I'm on the computer telephone with lol -Have to leave at a moment notice So I basically came up with way of playing that compliments my current life ......... Instead of being always docked , I am now just always cloaked BUT in places of opportunity. I sit cloaked with both a sabre and DPS on a close to trade hub Wormhole and ambush whatever I want that enters......... and I have never been more successful in Eve as a "solo" pilot ( 2 chars obviously) Each and every night , for the 1-2 hours I play , I get more outrageously ridiculous kills then I ever have and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise being forced to afk / play this way The tactic allowed me to become the top killer in Thera for the last 3 years competing with HUGE groups of really good players all blue to each other and I play all alone , just 2 characters and somehow still #1 by alot while only attacking VIP targets , no seal clubbing So sometimes Eve and life throws ya curve ball but it puts you on the correct path in Life and in game - If you're ever interested on EXACTLY how I do what I do to adopt something similar , click the E as I have many replays uploaded - No commentary , just views from my DPS characters perspective . You could even fleet up with me but both of us are far too busy n afk ;) o7 Hope ya find your new thing
