    i have a question in substance painter you 1st added the low poly model from zbrush or from maya ? or we have to import the low poly model from zbrush by decreasing subdivision level to one? and then you baked the high poly model sculpted in zbrush right ?

    Thanks for this tutorial. It cleared a lot of things for me as a beginner. I tried this same exercise on 'Preview Sphere' asset inside of substance painter. I followed each and every step as shown in the video. But after applying 'Marble Fine' material and adjusting the values as shown in the video, the cracks are generating only around the border edges of the sphere which is not looking good. There are no cracks at all in the center of the sphere. I also tried with scale value and hitting the Random button but still the result is just the same. How should I fix the issue? Please help.

    At 0:22 how did you get it to look like the topology was a lot smoother? or was that just your viewport updating to better resolution? I increased the resolution of my dynamesh but it still looks like the cylinder has the same amount of hard edges and It didn't smooth out at all.

      its because he added loop cuts (term for another ring of edges in blender) and it affected the way the subdiv levels increased. sorry for the late response, you already found the answer ( probably)

    Сделала все то же самое. Но почему у меня так не светится? Вообще свечения нет, даже выкручивания интенсивность. Добавила пост процессы, не работает. Пост процессинг работает в HDPR? Или только в UPR? В чем может быть причина?
