Good hopefully it will fix my tbi every map I use my bike runs like shit
Oh, I just realised that fueltype do not apply for TPI models.... I really need it for ethanol blended fuel in Thailand. Will it come later ?
Any one else have trouble connecting to the erm portal log in?
are there instructions on how to get this new firmware installed on the ERM? I've downloaded the firmware update and the manager update, now what?
I'm really happy with my maps for my 250 tbi but will be damned if I don't download and flash with this new one. The fuel stoch option is a really good feature for people like me in ca. I will typically load up ethanol free fuel from utah and az, so have a mix of maverik clear 91 and sunoco 100 and vp 110 that goes in the bike.
Thanks guys for the update. I’m so glad I bought this product.😊👍
Great update, I have a problem with hanging idle on my TPI and I hope this can fix it by adjusting the fueltype since fuel in Thailand is Ethanol blended.
The temp fan adjustment is a game changer
Legends. Awesome work, thank you.
Fantastic update! Well done team. Better than factory!
This is the best video on the top end for this version. I’m glad they quit using this version. It’s pathetic how many times i have had to reference this video actually. lol
Its possible connect erm and after choose map disconect from bike and storage to not spoil. Or if you disconect you miss the map?
Yes its possible... you can flash the tune to the ECU and then disconnect the ERM.
Do you know what the internal volume is of the standard cover compared to your one? Thanks
Installed one of these on my 24 300exc amd the engine management light has come on (5 lomg flashes) I've heard the cover can sometimes need a small amount taken away with a dremel??? Is this correct??? Thanks
My bike did the same thing. Did a powervalve reset, check engine light went away.
If you perform a powervavle reset it should stop the code from coming back. There were a very limited number of covers manufactured which 'may' have caused the PV to generate a fault code. Performing the PV reset will normally fix the issue.
@@TwoStrokePerformance have you had issues with the set screw fouling the PV cover??? I can see where it's been hitting???
Hi , would this process and values be exactly the same for the sx 125? Thanks
Is the green map generally leaner and the white map richer? I like the white map in most conditions and wondering which direction to go with basic settings to increase power response with green map...
Yes generally the green map is leaner than the white map, but ti does vary. If you want to experiment you coudl use Basic Tuning to remove say -3% fuel on teh white map and see how it feels. If it feels OK you can go a bit further.
Video perfecto amigo! Mil gracias maquina
Hey Dave, thanks for the instructions, you rock! I just checked mine (exc300 2023, 160hrs), and got 9ml (fast only). The cycle lasted for one minute. It looks like that's more than enough oil, but I'd like to know what do you make of it? Thanks man 💪
TSP is not a company I would recommend. Last year I picked up a new XC 250. I ordered some parts including a TSP head, planning to build a bike over the winter. I then had an opportunity to pick up an xc300, which I did and subsequently sold the 250 still in the crate. I emailed TSP asking if I could exchange the head(still in the unopened box)for one for the 300. No reply. I emailed them again a week later stating I would pay any price difference as well as shipping both ways. Noreply. I emailed them a third time a couple of weeks later. No reply. They simply do not care about customer service.

My bike can’t priming oil pump, whats the problem , if you have experience share with me please tq
Normally that will happen if theres a fault code present, or if the idle is set too high. Check and clear any fault codes and make sure that the TPS voltage is 0.60v or less at idle and try again.

The end of this Video should be at the End of the Next Video (Getting Started 3)
I installed one of these on my 24 KTM 300 Hardenduro. I am very pleased with the results.
The online guide shows the positive/negative values on the tune tab in an image (when the TSP map is selected). However, when I went to flash the bike, those values stayed at 0 (with the latest 2024 Trail map). Is that because they are hidden w/ a TSP tune? This was a '24 300 TBI. And this was selecting the "TSP Tune" option under the 'Preset' dropdown,
If you leave all values at zero you will be flashing the TSP tune to the ECU without any further changes. In this case (when everything is zero) the preset label is 'TSP' because you are flashing our tune as we intended it. If you change any of the cells you are now flashing a modified version of our TSP tune (with your changes overlaid onto our tune) and in this case the preset label changes to 'Custom'. Likewise if you choose one of the other preset labels, eg 'Softer' if will flash our TSP tune with the Softer changes overlaid onto it. In all cases you are flashing a TSP tune, its just that you may have chosen to make some changes to it or not.
@@TwoStrokePerformance Makes sense, thanks!
Would this cause wide open throttle if broken?
Hey Guys I keep getting an error code saying P1404 Exhaust Valve Lower Position not reachable. When I ride right on the bottom there’s a dead spot/bog and then it takes off like a bat out of hell. TSP PV cover and ERM added, and Iridium plug. Downloaded Trail mapping and I’m at/below Sea Level Long Island NY
I would suggest carefully checking wiring to the PV servo. If possible swap the servo for one off another TBI bike and see if its still happens. We have had the same issue on one of our shop bikes and it turned out to be a wiring fault. Another possibility could be carbon build up stopping the PV from reaching its limits.
I reset code, then PV and TPS again and then went for a ride, code is staying off now. But the dead Spot/BOG off initial throttle 0-15% is not going away. Then it opens up and pulls like crazy. But nothing on the Bottom.
@@christophernapolitano8404 i would still investigate the PV. Lack of bottom end power then strong mid/top are a common symptom of a powervalve thats set too high. There could be something stopping the PV from reaching its correct lowest point. Even though you did the PV reset it may have just reset the low position to something higher than it needs to be. eg. if carbon was stopping it from reaching its correct down postion the ECU just resets the new (higher) position as closed because thats as far as the PV can travel.
Excellent breakdown and explanation. Very factual and superb design. I'm a new customer for sure! Please keep up this outstanding work for all of us who seek efficiency and reliability on our KTM bikes.
What’s the difference between using this vs using the cdi I ordered your high compression head and key aswell as your cdi unit from a uk company fitted everything whilst waiting for cdi to be told you no longer doing them ? Curious to know if this does exactly same without option to switch between maps ? 2016 KTM sx 125
How do I add my other bike to the erm module?
The ERM is currently a single license device so it can only be used to tune one bike at a time. If you want to leave your current ECU tuned and take the ERM to a new bike you can purchase a reset through your account at tsp-erm.com At some time in the future we will be releasing a version which allows multiple licenses, however we dont have a timeline for that yet. It will most likely be later this year or early next year.
@@TwoStrokePerformance how much is the reset?
@freqchen $350. Better off buying a 2nd ERM. I just installed my kit this evening. ERM is super easy to use.
can you have the stock map on white and the tuned on green?
unfortunaely you cant use the stock on one colour and TSP on the other. Each time you load a 'tune' is comes with 2 'maps' (white and green). The stock 'tune' has its own white and green maps and our TSP tune has its own white and green maps. You can use the ERM to modify either the white or the green map on the TSP tune though. Doing this allows you to make either map run almost any way you like.
Briliant video! I appreciate the time you took to show us how to reassemble the powervalve system and how to set it up 👍
Did you ever dyno one with the Coober ECU in it?
Yes, weve had virtually every tune on the market sent to us by customers at some stage or another so we have tested pertty much every option.
Do we need to do these resets after making custom changes to the TSP map ?
No, you only need to do it the first time you pair the ERM with the ECU. Once it has been done the first time you can then make changes with the ERM and you wont have to do it again. The only exception is if you do a top end rebuild and strip down the powervavle, in which case you would perform the powervavle reset again, or iof you decide to manually roatate th TPS to another setting, in which case you would do the TPS reset again.
@@TwoStrokePerformance Thanks and good to know!
What are the actual costs of resets?
Is there any issues with fitting this with a stock ECU?
No, you can fit it to a stock bike and its very effective at adjusting the tune.
Are rhese available in canada or usa only in north america
They sure are! Contact Riley at BRC Racing... brcracing.ca/ He has ERMs in stock and ready to go.
@@TwoStrokePerformance absolutely thank you will be ordering so glad I no longer have to ship out and can keep riding keep up the good work
In case anyone is getting pairing failure, check if your Wi-Fi source is transmitting at 5ghz. It seems to not like that. I used my phones hot spot which uses 2.4ghz and it paired perfectly.
How do you do this with a multimeter only?
Probe the Black and Yellow/Red wires on the back of the TPS plug. With both the red and yellow throttle body adjusters backed all the way out you need to set the TPS to 0.40v. If it requires adjustment loosen the torx screws holding the TPS in position, rotate as necessary and then re-tighten until 0.40v is achieved.
@@TwoStrokePerformance When you first back out the yellow know, do you press it in and then back out?
No dont press it in, just back it out.
Any tuning changes needed with the ERM?
Nope.
how can i get one in the eu?
Contact MX Guards in Hungary, or Rutherford Racing in the UK. They both have stocks of ERMs.
This is very confusing . Theres been 3 diffrent videos doing 3 different things...i really hope i havent damaged my new bike
Not you wont have done any damage. We have updated the process for several reasons. This most recent update, which now includes the adaptive value reset, has come about to bring the process in line with the KTM manual. The reality is that the vast majority of ECUs already have 0.40v saved as the TPS baseline value. For these bikes the adaptive value reset doesnt change anything. Rather than telling some people to do it and others not to, we have simply now said to everyone to perform the reset as a safeguard. The reason we are confident in this process is that we have a database of hundreds of original ECU tunes from ERM customers and can see exactly what value they are already set to. Virtually all of them are already at 0.40.
What is the problem you had? Did you email us directly here in Australia, or was it through one of our resellers? If not email admin@twostrokeperformance.com.au and we can help.
Kt100 manco
Does the TPS reset clear the so called “adaptation values” that many online talk about, or can that only be done with the KTM dealer tool? If it doesn’t, what exactly does resetting the tps do considering you’re already at the .40v? The powervalve reset I can wrap my mind around. Any info would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for the wonderful products you guys make!
Yes the TPS reset is the same as resettign the adaptive values. Its the same process. It teaches the ECU the new closed postion of the TPS.
Do we need to do the tps reset on both maps or just once?
No you only need to do it once. Think of the ECU as containing one 'tune', and the tune has 2 'maps' within it. The reset applies to the tune and so therefore impacts both maps.
Awesome thanks 👍
Legend. This is extremely helpful thanks. 💪💪💪👌👍
Can this be installed on a stock TBI without the TSP kit and receive the same or similar results?
Yes it can
This is just awesome, I’ve always wanted to tune and make mapping programs. Great detailed vid.
I’m going to have to take a computer class at the local college to figure out register and download maps to this thing.
Its actually very easy if you follow the steps in the videos. Usually takes about 10-15 minutes in total to setup the ERM and start riding.
