I knew cliffie stone when I was young growing up in what they now call Canyon Country near Los Angeles California. I attended high school with his son Curtis at William S. Hart high school in Newhall California. His son Curtis formed a Band in high school but was never as successful as his father, but he really seem to enjoy music! Thank you bebop capital for letting me relive a little bit of my past!

Just to set the record straight, Bill was just part of the Down Homers . . .it was not his band. The Down Homers was started by Shorty Cook (2nd from left) and Guy Campbell(with fiddle) Bill was hired as a replacement for Kenny Roberts while Kenny was gone(might have been in the service)
