my first NCIS video about the great relationship between Gibbs & Abby, my two favorite characters. It's a ship video with a love song.
Both of them,they full Inlove.
I love the fact that they wrote a Marine, A Gunny! (I Know a Drum Major, I'm a musician! Drum Major's! They are Scary, In a good way) who understands a Goth. I'm a Somewhat/Kind of Goth and I get away with calling my Veteran, both Military and Police officer friends "Love" and they get my random, and sometimes unexpected my hugs! I understand and Respect them. NOTE. Never offer a Salute, if your head is not covered! I was taught that from a Veteran A WW2 MAN. Or as our US. Marine friends call it a Cover, When ever I see this Gentleman I always remember this important fact he shared with me.
When Abby found about him murdering Hernadez all those years ago. Part of her died inside but at the same time she completely understood.
Her hero has a flaw and is a mere human.

When Abs finds out about what Gibs did she looked crushed. She wants to cry cause she never thought he could do somethingike that.
Abby also understood why he would did something like that. That is why she and Vance never told anyone. Her report doesn't exist anymore.

Why does Gibbs and Abby keep looking at each other so weird?
He killed the guy who killed his wife and daughter. No one knew it was him for years until the guy gibs killed got brought back up, and Abby was the first on to put two and two together. I think by the end of it all, it got swept under the rug. You probably figured this out by now seeing how this post is two years old 😭, be just in case I guess.

I don't think it's a father daughter relationship. I also think labelling them as anything is pointless. They're just them. It's deeper than father/daughter and more than just friends but I'm glad they're not a couple on screen. They should just leave it so that when the series ends they're both single and people can use their imagination.

I think they’re both attracted to each other, but since Gibbs never made a move on Abby she moved to another explanation why he’s so overprotective of her, hence the Borderland dreaded d word mention. And now Gibbs thinks she thinks he sees her somehow else, so he’ll never make a move because he doesn’t want to lose her. They adore each other but don’t want to lose that balance that could affect their closeness. So yeah. They could have been more, but due to misunderstandings that they’re never going to talk about, that chance has passed.
You guys are so off beat, they clearly intended it to be a father daughter relationship. That is why he's overprotective. It's exactly how a father is with their daughter. Now McGee on the other hand is overprotective because he loves her.
i love their father/daughter relationship. i'm glad they are family and not a couple.
I hope the show ends with Gibbs retiring, and then asking Abby out on a date.
