WB Yeats' recites his most famous poem 'The Lake Isle of Innisfree' against stunning footage of the Sligo island made famous by the Nobel prize-winning poet in this video to mark the end of the hugely successful Yeats2015 celebrations.

    Such great poetry does not need loudly intrusive music, and certainly not a rendering in which the metre of the verse is held up between lines. A shame to misuse a great actor.

    The bindings are sadly quite plain and droll. And the marbled paper looked to be the cheaper paper from France. I would expect a Yeats book this special would be using uniquely Irish materials like griffin mills paper and locally produced Irish marbled paper. This project missed the mark sadly.
