I actually think it’s the best blind I’ve ever sat in, windows are super quiet because they’re sliders and you can actually see pretty clear… I think they are running a 50% sale today (Tidwe)

@@zazoutdoors ya they sent me one to do a review on one. I used it turkey hunting. Took me a few sits to get used to it, had a bad headache from trying to focus. It also leaked through the roof when it rained

Considering we only hunt public land, we tip our hat to anyone that is willing to hike in 15+ miles to some of these spots!! I can also tell you that packing a 300+ pound bear out of there was an incredibly difficult task for three ex college athletes (I couldn’t imagine packing out an elk) I would be glad to buy the first round of beer at the good old Elbe bar for anyone willing to harvest big game from there

lol we have the largest population of black bear in the lower 48 and no spring bear season. I think you’re going to be fine

Hey David, I appreciate you taking time to watch our videos that definitely means a lot to us! That being said, I’m not sure you’re familiar with Wisconsin regulations, they only give out a specific number of doe tags each year and that was not something I had in my possession.. I haven’t been able to hunt as a resident in Wisconsin in quite some time because I live out west, I haven’t harvested a Whitetail buck in probably 10 years, so if you want to look at it, that way, I have let my fair share of smaller bucks pass lol… I understand what you are saying completely, and we have a whole process in place on the land that we own to only harvest mature bucks, this buck was shot on public land, and again, my first harvest in quite some time! I also felt unsure how to feel after harvesting a smaller buck, but given that it was one of the two bucks shot in our camp all year, I was reassured that out of the 14 other people that held the tags who hunted with us that they would have made the same decision. I wish Wisconsin didn’t have a deer population issue in so many areas but it’s sad to say that is not true anymore, we have an entire different hunting group in our family that hunts just an hour north (20 guys) that didn’t even see a deer.. I will for sure set my sights on a mature buck in the 2023 season, as I do every year. Like I said, earlier though being a non-resident and the amount of deer we have doesn’t help the situation. I unfortunately will not wait another decade before Wisconsin makes some changes to their Whitetail population control. Aka (wolf and other predators) that destroy these numbers in comparison to the nine days we are legally allowed to gun hunt. I’m sure you can get a more statistically accurate response from Papa Z, if he decides to chime in here 😂
