Hey everybody! My names Andrew and it’s been a long time dream of mine to start a fishing CZcams channel. Fishing has been a passion of mine since I was still in a stroller and between my dad and CZcams, I wouldn’t know near what I know today. I decided to make this channel to help others learn what I’ve learned and to also watch me learn along the way.
The name RAG Florida Fishing is for Reel As It Gets, and obviously I’m in Florida and I’m fishing LOL. I want this channel to be as transparent as possible, showing my great days, decent days, and the days I get skunked.
I hope you all enjoy these videos, and anything I use I’ll let y’all know in the video description and will happily read all comments and answer any questions! Enjoy and tight lines!!

Light Tackle Florida Snook Fishing!!

Today I had one thing on my mind and that was redemption on tarpon, after last trip. Well....I pretty much did that in the first 20 minutes of the trip lol. The water at the spillway has more oxygen and bait getting washed over with the rain. Bite the tail fin off the fluke for the tarpon or try a doa terror eyez or bait buster , Don’t twitch it real steady . Great video, it is a summer struggle

Hey brotha! Thanks for the support!! To be honest man, I love it, I’ve caught some monsters on that setup, drag is smooth and it’s quick. I will say, being the 6000, it’s best for live bait. But at the end of the day I’m a huge penn battle fan. Any other reels I have was just a deal I couldn’t pass up.
Was gonna suggest you upgrade to a Terrova Ripetide with spot lock and north jog but a new phone costs a bunch 😬

Another great video, always cool to watch you fishing practically in my backyard, lol. The fish probably got lethargic in the midday heat and stopped hitting. Some of the fish I've been catching lately feel like they're 100 degrees 😮💨.Congrats on the channel growth man, your videos are great! 🐠

Love the channel, because it shows the grind and not just catching fish. Try black/ purple or root beer for the tarpon. White works, but dark colors work better in my opinion, real straight no twitch. Tarpon usually track baits before they eat them.

Good job man!! When those snook hit the top water or short strike it…don’t stop and let the top water sit there. Keep going (almost go faster)…it will create a predatory strike for the snook. When snook hit mullet the mullet don’t stop…they try to get away. I know EXACTLY how you feel as I ALWAYS would want to do that (stop the top water to let the snook get it) but that’s not a natural bait motion. Reel that sucka hard. :). Great job man
