Hey @gamesta8353 yes absolutely. Clearly not as well as a 13kilo lightweight carbon but as I mentioned somewhere in the video that I was blown away at the phenomenal amount of power i was able to get through the pedals. This bike pedalled and climbed better than i had expected. The suspension platform with the Focus GOLD dual linkage helps to eliminate pedal sag which created a nice and direct amount of power. I would still gladly ride this bike on any of my rides i do.. And the price at the time was ridiculously cheap compared to other major brands in the same spec, and right now you can get them a-lot cheaper again..

@@gamesta8353 The Habit LT2? I know a little about it but as I’ve not ridden one I’d rather not try compare. I know the Habit is under the same category as the sham but a Long Travel trail or Enduro rig but it doesn’t offer the spec for dollar as the group set is a mix of XT and SLX and the Jam is full XT. I love the Focus suspension BIG TIME but as I said I’ve not ridden the Cannondale so I can’t speak for it.

At 110kilo I’m a wee bit too big for it but it still held its own and rode really well.

Yes I mentioned in the video it does 50kmh out of the box designed for street riding with no Moto license. When you disconnect the wire it does 70kmh but you need a Moto license at that speed on the road. Anything outside this I’m not aware of.

Yeah this place is so diverse, one minute your over the back of the bike fearful of going over the bars then your brakes wide open boosten bigger doubles at speed.

Hey Blake, this one I tested was a Large, perfect for me at 6foot even, I do like the bike to lean more on the smaller than the larger side as I,like to throw it around more.. Id have gone an XL if my riding style focused more on longer rides and less aggressive trails..

Soo true Darren, I don’t normally skimp on Features I know but on this day with the heat I honestly just couldn’t have been bothered. The risk is high on this corner, I’ll take the risk if it means getting air time but for a corner there’s no reward for cleaning it.

Yeah it’s a big risk no reward corner, I’ve always done it until this time, just wasn’t interested. I didn’t do Powerful howl as I just wanted to get the top 3 in first. Metamorphic although not tec is a great fun trail to ride as well. Be sure to check it next time you go.

Yeah Kmart the whole network needs a freshen up but I don’t mind it, that’s how trails should be IMO. Bike Check coming soon.

Maybe everyone has it wrong😬😬. Nah I’m broad shouldered and prefer the stability of that little extra width, there is zero restrictions with the wider bars and plenty of advantages. I’ve experimented with everything from 780mm to 840mm. At 840mm I could sense a slight delay in response and maneuverability and at 780mm there was a little too much twitch in the faster rough. So 820mm is where I found best for me.
