If you’re trying to get the word search generator, that’s the Instant Puzzle Generator (IPG) link and that seems to be working fine. If you’re trying to get the generator that does the crosswords and cryptograms, that’s Word Puzzles Generator (WPG) and that link seems to be having issues. I’m going to reach out to Niranjan, the creator, and see what’s going on with that link.

If you're doing it for your kdp books, you should be going through your KDP dashboard and click on Marketing tab. Another option would be to just go directly to advertising.amazon.com and go from there. This should bring you to the Amazon Ads platform.

To start with, KDP. It’s easy to use, allows you to run ads directly to Amazon and there are a ton of tutorials on how to do it. That said, after you’ve published a couple on kdp, I suggest going wide to both broaden your reach as well as not put all your “eggs in one basket”. I have a video where I discuss some of the platform options and which one may work best depending on your needs. Yes, D2D allows short books. That said, only the Amazon platform can decide whether or not to put your ebook in the short reads categories.

You should be able to highlight those paragraphs and set the paragraph settings (indentations, spacing etc)

I always do kdp first, but there’s no rule saying you have to do one before the other.

Agreed! Getting author copies is the most cost effective option. The only time I don’t do this is if I need the books fast, in which case I’ll order them as a customer and take advantage of prime shipping. It costs more, but I get them quicker. Which is why I do my best to order books as far in advance as possible, so I can get the author copies.

Yes, I strongly suggest you include solutions inside your book. Lately, there’s a growing trend of creators making users go to a website to get the answers. These tend to get an above average number of negative reviews. I ALWAYS include solutions in my books.

Yes, you definitely need to be careful and do your due diligence. This is why I test out these freelancers so the viewer doesn’t have to.

When you get to the ai generated question, it asks how much of your interior is ai generated. So you can answer based on how much you used.

They probably ran ads and possibly did other marketing and promotion.

If you have access to Wordpress prettylinks plug in, you can create the link and put it in your book and then once it’s launched, you can update the pretty link path to point to correct link. If you don’t have access to pretty links, then yes, once you publish the book you’ll add the link into your manuscript and reupload/publish it.

Pretty links are usually easier to “remember” for the customer than a bitly link. If it’s for an ebook, it doesn’t really matter, but for a print book, you want it as easy to remember as possible.

On warriorplus, “personal use” means you can’t sell the software. The products you create using the software are fine for commercial use. I know it’s poorly worded.

I would probably avoid that unless you know exactly why it was blocked. Trying to republish a book that was already blocked could get the new book blocked, or worse, if KDP thinks you’re trying to trick them, it could get your account terminated. I’d suggest asking KDP directly and if they say yes, keep your communication to cover your backside.

There’re two separate concepts you’re talking about here. (Font size and appearance) Technically, to be considered large print your book needs to be mostly 16pt font or larger. That said, for your customers that are buying large print books, it’s the appearance that really matters. So, even if your font size is 16pt or larger, if you don’t think it LOOKS large enough, I suggest increasing it to make your customers happy! After all, they’re the ones that are leaving the reviews.

If you’re using ai for assisting you, meaning it’s not actually creating the book, then you don’t have to disclose anything. When you get to the section asking if you used ai to generate the book, the answer is no. If you used ai to create the actual book and or cover then you have to answer that honestly.

I'm not sure what you mean by not being eligible. Short Read categories are not something you can sign up for, it's a category that Amazon will decide whether or not to assign your book to. If you mean that those categories are not available on the UK marketplace, your book should still be eligible on the .com marketplace. As for your book description, I definitely suggest mentioning it's a shorter book. There are a few creative ways you can do that. You can say things like, "In this short prequel to X..." or "X pages of action-packed excitement," etc. Best of luck!
