I don't tend to swap birds around once paired for the season but as soon as the hen has laid her 2nd egg you can remove her and undersit those eggs and repair her in around about a week but every pigeon is different and I'm not recommending you do this it's just that you can do it that way if you like. 6months old some jeans are ready to to pair but if they are all the way though the moult or only one flight to go then you can pair them, again depends on the hen

As you can see all out in 5 days in our case, it's more of the case of the cock holding his box. Some pigeons will only take a few hours to bond others will take a couple of days but in your case they will definitely be paired and you need to get them out in my opinion, some wait until they lay before they let them out but if you get fighting you may lose eggs
