Indeed 👍
What brand of acrylic do you guys use
i used this exact system back in 2008 to form up a couple houses, its amazing to work with, except in the rain, then you get water spraying at you every block you knock down
Can you put Halo exterra interior?
Look for Halo Interra
Can exterra be installed indoor?
Hello, yes you can, but Exterra is perforated to allow moisture to escape towards the facer of the board. In many cases, interior moisture is not desired and Interra is used.
I’d use thicker rebar than that to hold the Earth
Interesting I'd like to see the next stage
Great build! I'm hoping to build a home like this, sans the garage, with big windows east over lake superior.
Hubba hubba
Hello, what flashing are you using outside? Liquid, tapes (like SIGA, 3M) . Thanks
Hello! Yes, those products will work just fine as long as the adhesive is not solvent based. Check out our blog post on this topic at logixicf.com/blog/insight-and-advice/how-to-prevent-flanged-windows-from-leaking-in-icf-walls-7-step-flashing-method/
Where did you get the void form? I can’t find anything called T Void form. Also how to not have the wall move off the top of it or does the iCf snap into it? Thanks
How much is it ?
Check us out at www.ElementICF.com and reach out! Your nearest plant can provide you with a quote!
No.water getting in there Nice job
Why put subterra inside and on exterior walls? Subterra is for under concrete it would have been cheaper and been able to get same insulation value out of putting interra on inside and exterra on exterior..
Yeah i bet that r-60 blow-in insulation just lets that heat fly right through.
4000 mix of 1” with 1% calcium
Thank you, where can I buy something like this ? I’m in the USA, Florida
Contact your local equipment rental shop for single use! Otherwise you can purchase one online or at a concrete equipment store.
This will no longer be a necessary step with the new Element ICF system; full solid contact from top to bottom!
Where in Atlantic Canada can you purchase this?
Enter your Postal Code/ City at buildwithhalo.com/where-to-buy/
Great content
🙌
It's wrong 😂
This is exactly what I was looking for but why not make a more solid foam than this
Logix ICF uses a high density EPS!
How did you insulate on the top?
This is a sheet Poly-Iso. "Covering" the top of the forms would have been a more accurate description here.
This is interesting.
I have a tip: Use peel and stick like this video... do Not use the pluton garbage!
ICFs aren’t so cool!!
Is the floor 8 inches thick? Are the pilings 14 feet deep?
90% of your heat leaves through the roof of your home. Dont buy into these diy foundation kits, they dont have any benefit unless youre savy enough to install and pour them yourself, which means the only benefit is to be able to do concrete without real forms.
I'm curious about the sonatubes within the footing. What was your reasoning behind that?
Same here, I don’t think I ever seen that unless concrete columns where on top
These are pilings for the foundation!
Is this in Winnipeg?
You can check them here- www.hollyhockconstruction.com/
@@LogixBrands Ok thanks! 👍
noice
Plumb, not plum.
The brand is called Plum Wall dude
Ah qué difícultoso 😂😂
Have you tried subterra regular not subterra plus?
Many customers use Subterra! Just depends on the application.
Is it just as rigid as XPS? What is the PSI? How heavy is it?
GPS will provide much better performance than XPS.
Good work, it is good for people just to see it.
Where can I get your screw down leveling devices?
What are the true ingredients? Is Planet Earth smiling at this ? I am like seriously YUK . Y???? More chemicals. Lay Brick ya. God Forgive Me. ❤ fire hits this stuff... what's going to happen?
Anybody want to throw a realistic number to stucco a 4500 sqft 2 story house? 😅
did mine diy $8/sqft CAD
Who does this and what type of stucco is this? Acrylic?
You do it... super ez... yes fiber mesh usually means acrylic
Question… when I I adhere the first course? I thought that was the first step? “Laser level after the second course is complete, shim if needed.”
Typically chalk lining wall locations and all openings is first to do. There are very helpful installation guides at Logixicf.com in the technical library. Spray foam is applied conservatively to the first course after making adjustments by shimming and trimming the bottom of the block. This is to account for any slab misalignment and keep your wall on your chalk lines.
What product is that and where can I get it
Resisto ICF Membrane! Check them out online.
Where can I buy that?
Hi, You can check more about ICFs at www.logixicf.com and check out the dealer location at the bottom of the page
@@LogixBrands thank you!
Just pure Water... with some cement dust
What is the best concrete mix for ICF? R1 and R2 are the two classes of concrete typically used in ICF walls in Canada. But there’s more to it if you want to get a concrete mix that’s code-compliant, strong, and workable - and the latter matters a lot! Find out the 5 best practices for getting the best concrete mixed in your ICF walls here- logixicf.com/blog/logix-blog/what-is-a-good-icf-concrete-mix-for-residential-applications-in-canada/
Whats the answer????

You ask a question, and don't answer it.

if u have a helper on site... why u using ICF?
Hi, Logix ICFs are made of Expanded Polystyrene and Polypropylene webs, weighing approximately 7 lbs per block; it is relatively easy to carry block bundles. Many contractors slide 2x4x (8’ or 10’ lengths) in the middle/bottom of the bundle and maneuver with two people. Other common methods are by forklift or separating bundles and carrying smaller portions of block per person.
No gaps? The guys at my company always have 1 inch gaps. ?
Bad advice. How does a skilled trades worker support their families after a workplace injury makes them permanently disabled? Stay in school kids. College is the only path to success. You don’t want a job where your employment depends on your ability to perform backbreaking labour. Skilled trades haven’t been good jobs since the 70’s.. Good parents put their kids through college to give their children the best chance at life. Skilled trades should be a last resort..
