5 Things I Wish I Knew About Skincare - After 10 Years Battling Acne
Lol wait until you discover Lalique
First
God forbid jf you have some color on you
I don’t get color, I burn.
Dream location
bro they're reinventing hijab but for protecting against the sun instead of male gaze
I wear fishing hats, also 50 sunscreen.
Or just wear an abaya ❤
I've had stretch marks most of my life, so I just let the belly ones do what they will 😂.
how long til you can start using that stuff and how will you know if your skin barrier is healed
Yes Japanese people favour fair skin BUT that's not entirely why they go so hard on sun protection. The UV levels on sunny days are very high and with the humidity, the shade from a parasol is the only thing that will give you any relief from the heat.
Im literally so serious about sun protection but i know id LOVE this store!! I use a parasol, hat and sunglasses plus sunscreen..but i could probably use it on my arms but im lazy lol
Oh my god they stock Roger & Gallet? I've been searching for that brand for 10 years. 😭
If you’re in Canada, I think shoppers has it!
This level is just hatred towards blackness bc this is just uncomfortable
since when has sun exposure given any asian person black skin?
@@tomokokurokiirl you must be slow…any form of tanning is seen as blackness and that ignorant comment you made proves my point that Asian people hate blackness because WTF DID YOU JUST SAY??!
I’ve become much more serious about sun protection like using upf clothing, glasses, gloves, people think it’s too much but i don’t think so.
I use so much sunscreen year round, so i stock up when it's on sale cause it adds up. But Asian sun screens feel so much better! I tend to only use those on my face because they feel so lightweight and don't bother me as much as American versions.
Hahaha, Americans are so gullible 😅
They dont like to get a dark skin that its.
Biore is the truth!
"Dexeryl" is an EXCELLENT cream for anywhere, and it's way cheaper than other creams of this richness
I can’t believe this was only $8! It’s been one of my favourite purchases from Olive & Young and this is just scratching the surface on how to use it! You can also buy this in the US and Canada, but it’s a bit more pricey here. Still worth it though. The brand is called Fillimilli and the product details are below: [Ceramic Body Gua Sha] Professional Ceramic Body Gua Sha was created to take care of clumping large muscles. The protruding side with bumps can take care of large muscles, the flat side provides soft muscle massage, and the special tip provides acupressure in the targeted areas. It comes with a pouch for storing Gua Sha so that it can be used hygienically for a long time without getting scratched. My thoughts: I had a lot of fun playing with this and finding ways that work for me and that feel comfortable. I do like facial massage for a morning or evening pick me up, just make sure you’re using enough oils! Especially if your skin is dry.
I wonder what the average vitamin d level is in Japan.
Constant sun exposure is actually harmful especially UVA & UVB rays. That's y more whites have skin cancer than Asians.
I’ve read somewhere a lot of people in Japan are vitamin d deficient
Have a look at our hydrolipid repair oil🎉🎉🎉🎉 on sale now 🎉🎉🎉🎉
The fear of sun as they don't wanna get tanned is really scary. I am indian and we also fear the sun as we don't want to get tanned or get 'dark' 🙄 but this.. this is too much ... Never did anything to this extent. Not shaming but it's really not healthy to be this scared of the sun😂
Pharmacist in France do not waste their time advising people on skincare they focus on medecines and there are enough sick people to fill their days. Not everyone who works at a "parapharmacie" is a pharmacist.
Where is this dress from?
Why you would ask the pharmacist? That's last thing you can do. You skipped caudalie la roche... bunch of good products you could get
The White Lotus music
Not you saying "this brand" and putting your finger over the name and only letting us see it for a second 😂 come on.
TokyU Hands*
As a Muslim women, who wear abaya (long sleeve black full coverage dress) and full hijab. This makes me laugh, I couldn’t tell you the amount of time I’ve been asked “aren’t you hot in that?” (*BY WHITE WOMEN WEARING SHORTS IN THE SCORCHING SUN*) and now it’s “applaudable” for Japanese’s people to cover them selves?
The difference is they use it for sun protection not to obey the rules of some religion. Also nobody praises japan for this, it's very sad since most of them don't care about uv rays they just don't want to get darker in complexion 😢
Things to know about Paris. Don’t go to Paris
Yeah, and when Arabians do the same, you guys accused us of being strict.
They just wanna be white as possible 😂
Can’t even imagine being this afraid of having beautiful sun kissed skin
That pharmacy looks like the most average pharmacy in Europe 😭😭
As an Asian person I have to confirm that Asian people love to have light skin 100% . ( Most people). Is not about protecting the skin from sun damage but protecting they skin of getting dark believe me. Sad really
stop saying "fair skinned" you can just say the want to look white. they're obsessed with being as pale as is imaginably possible.
It’s unfortunately based on vanity, not on health. On one hand yes they’re protecting themselves from skin cancer, but they’re more concerned about being “dark”-which further promotes the idea of light skin good, dark skin bad.
suddenly i have to come here
Too little sun exposure is also bad. You need vitamin d and it also plays a big role in mental health
Born and raised in Paris (and I still live there 😅) sorry to say but you got scammed big time. It’s not the most popular pharmacy, not the most used or bought items by French ppl either 😂😂
Yeah so you clearly missed the difference that exists in Europe between drugstores and pharmacies…in a drugstore, you buy your cosmetics/skincare etc…but no medicine…that is what you buy in the pharmacy and that’s what the employees there are trained to sell…they know what you need when you are sick or have a prescription. however, most pharmacies also include skincare or over the counter skin products there but they are really expensive, not all of them of great quality and the pharmacies only sell them as a side business (although they do earn a lot of money with it with people like you)
So in France, skincare products are sold in pharmacies?
Yeah, just like skincare sold in drugstores in the US 🙄
Yup, and also in "parapharmacies" which are health and skincare stores not selling medication
Let’s just all together stop going outside and just hide for the sake of fashion/beauty/trends. Why enjoy life when you can be a slave to some imaginary standards
Ahaha I’ve been there but I had no idea it was famous! I had to run in and grab sunscreen 🤣
a ton of japanese people are deficient in vitamin d tho, i think its about finding a balance of protecting your skin but also just live life
I used to work in full sun for years, most of it without sun screen and I was still severely vit d deficient The risk-reward ratio just isn't worth it If you suspect your deficient, ask gor a blood test from your doctor and a vit d supplement subscription if needed
Hands is my haven. The stationary department is one of the main reasons why I am going back to Japan!
Southern California! Now that's sunny! ⛱️ 🏖️
That's paradise to meee❤❤❤
That purple umbrella was cute
