Quite the collection! Good to see old machine brought back to life.
It was nice watching you bring it back to life. Great job my friend 🔧👍
Well done 👍
Oh I think she’s definitely deserving of a shiny new paint job Boneyard! She wants to live again lol but seriously that thing is in excellent condition for how old and what it is, can’t wait for the maiden ride.
Welcome to boneyards motor cycle house
I like the upgraded pegs on there and the saddlebag lights made the whole bike look alot better 🔧
@@Turningwrenches85 thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@boneyardgaragesmallenginer188 your welcome
Your advice on trying to make one of this engines work if, its locked up, full of water, and sludge as oil in it, would it be worth the trouble or better off doing an engine swap?
Those engines are pretty durable. I would tear it down and see how bad it is most of the time you can clean everything up and put it back together. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@boneyardgaragesmallenginer188 I'm in the process of opening it up. So far, everything looks good. it's got a chance at coming back to life! It's freed up, piston wall looks good, valves are good, im wanting to look at crank shaft and timing marks make sure all that look good but if I keep going deeper I'm going to have to get new gaskets and I debating whether to go ahead and do the full rebuild! Right now I think I can get away with a valve job and electronic ignition if the points don't work! Decisions!🤔
Model number prefix 536 means made by 536 Noma (Murray) That blade is missing a washer . Also the blade adaptor is a big giveaway that it’s a Murray (old Murray before they went out of business and the name was bought by Briggs and Stratton
Hold the fricken camera steady, makes me dizzy with all the circling around.
Very nice! Love those old reel mowers!❤

It's a nice vintage tractor. Lots of small engine repair videos on your channel and are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more novices DIY repairers in the community.

Looks great, nice job! Couple of questions if I may. 1.) Do you have the link to the other guys video? 2.) what was the second light that you used? Thanks.

May I buy it? Grew up mowing my childhood life with a cooper kipper - miss it :)
I have a Echo 290, but I cannot get it started. The previous owner put chainsaw oil in the gasoline chamber. Any advice for me?
I just went to TS today and got a kit for my 7000 series. $70+tax for 2qt 10w-30, 2spark plugs, oil, air and fuel filter.. they had the 300 kit (2qt, oil filter) for $60. For me it was a no brainier! (Only here looking up to see if I was wrong lol)
B=battery, L=left, R=Right?
They only did that on the very low end models like this one. Now if you spend $9600 on a 9 Series mower you get parking brake rotors and pads.
I just snagged a self propelled chain drive
What did you use to degrease the brake/clutch?
Brake cleaner. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
LOOKS GREAT BONES
Thanks Bub 👍🏻

those are the wheels I'm looking for. do you want to sell?

Thank you for your excellent video
Thank you for watching!
That's a really neat piece! Looking forward to the revival video!
Very helpful! I bought a Locke Triplex and am restoring it. Got it running nicely. May have to do a little adjusting on the transmission. But my next job is to back lap so this is a huge help. What is the compound you’re using? Did you mix it up yourself? I bought some 80 and 120 grit commercial. I really like your electric motor setup!! Mine has the hand crank so it’ll be a fun project.
Yes alot of stuff especially universal or sometimes not universal will have instructions that made you scratch your head 😕 this zzm trimmer grip i got off amazon it works like it should but the bushings thay came with it made the handle slide which was a pain i had to cut an old breather hose off to take off the slack on it but some of the instructions didnt make sense also but nice work you and your son ryan making it work 👍
What kind of jack are you using?
I bet that's the original engine
14 cubic inch 1964 that makes it 6hp
What color is that?
Best thing sell them.
Looks like a nice project coming up there Tom 🔧👍
Looks like it could be a fun project. I love the control stick. I haven’t seen that before. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Brian RFL
Nice!
That is sweet boneyard! My brother had 2 of these back in the 70’s, 1 was identical to that he sold to my uncle then the other one he painted purple….it was the 70’s haha! Can’t wait to see more on it sir!
That is definitely a one off riding mower strange thing is that the discharge opening is on the left side so when you are cutting the grass it's throwing it forward but it is a great thing for you to get Bone yard
What an awesome looking machine. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Great job showing us how to do nothing with the brake. LOL.. Come on man!
What do you need to know? I was just showing how they manufactured the brake not a big fan of it.
Tom I wish I owned a bike. Very nice video my friend.

13:47 what's going on with your fingernail?
Nail fungus
Those wheels are only to transport the mower you take them off when mowing. Most homeowners cut the axles off. You really don't need the transport wheels for anything they roll well on the metal drum.
Its a thermocycle. No water pump
