At the timestamp you gave there was nothing on my opponent's field so I couldn't use Silq's effect to bounce anything. A little after that is when I stopped the Orochi from being summoned and did another Mani chain but again there was nothing on my opponent's field. I need some help seeing what you are seeing.

@@CasualKeem I'm saying, generally it may be a better Idea to hold out on using mani until your opponent has something to bounce. That way you can get more value off the activation of mani

That shouldn’t be the end of the world. I’ve gotten around this by just using more traps (especially counter traps) and not relying solely on monster effects.

2 reasons. 1. This video is an early build, check out the later ones to see skill drain action a little. 2. Personal playstyle reason. I played with it for a while in a later video and it works but it felt bricky unless I had “Altergeist Protocol” set up, so decided to drop it for my final build. It works fine just I personally didn’t enjoy using it.

“Struggle” but still works. But that’s practically most decks released before Tearlaments. I’ve seen way worse going second decks being used. There are a millions dark magician players afterall. Yet no Altergiest players to be found. And “Altegeist protocol” mixed with counter traps can work wonders even going second.

Song name is "Virtual Space" - from Blazblue Entropy effect ost. Believe me this deck is very fun, but the only warning is that it's a hard deck to learn, and then figure out your playstyle. I have full videos if you want to see a full showcase and decklist.

It wasn't showcased in the video but I did play around with Volcanic Counter. Trust me I love Counter, I try my best to fit it into the deck when i'm trying different builds. Sadly though, once you face the knowledgeable players, it becomes a dead card. They will 100% play around it, especially since you can't choose when to activate the effect. So I found scenarios have to be created where your opponent has no choice but to trigger it when you want, or you have to be so sneaky to make them forget it's there. That becomes really hard to pull off once the deck touches Diamond Rank. For now i'm not a good enough player to consistently make Counter useful 😔. But I reallllyyy want to 😄.

The MD meta and ban list vary too much for me to be playing by the same structure so I stick to physical cards mainly. But it’s definitely a great play when I’m craving some combos with my previous deck.

Well i play branded Dogmatik in the tcg and my friends always hate me when i banish half of their extra deck or making fusions in their turn with Albion + albaz. You can also play Iblee or puppet but im not a fan lf those floodgates and play this deck pure ​@@ThatsSoGiorgio

Oh if I didn’t showcase a decklist, that just means I wasn’t pleased with it at the time. When I plan to revisit the deck, I will provide a decklist. For now, my version is outdated.

Oh I don't look to FTK. In fact I removed the ability from the deck recently. I enjoy player interaction and not ending things turn 1. OTK is fine but FTK is boring for me.

I was laughing so hard during that duel. I was prepared to surprise them with the 2nd Mahaama, but never thought they would put the 1st back in my hand to use again 🤣.

That is the beauty of Alba Zoa 😁. If your opponent has nothing on the field, then they don’t get a choice, they must use the effect to send cards from their hand or extra deck.

Hello happy you enjoyed the video. To answer you question, yes I do have the image, I am the artist.

From all the Umi decks i’ve face I never noticed how much support SSA 1 and 2 actually give. It’s very interesting. I did find myself wanting backrow protection a lot while using Icejades, especially when getting their lockdown. The main defense was only Icejade Erosion. So applying SSA for added protection would be very good. I will keep all this in mind when I revisit the deck. Thanks for your input, here and on the other video😁.

Din’t worry I know. Legendary ocean does not work with Icejades. Level modification can mess up syncho summoning. I do have plans to try out the Umi support some time in the future along with Sharks/ stealth kragen. I want to find that Icejade strategy that really clicks with me eventually 😁. I would have never guessed there were so many Icejade enjoyers out there. They are almost never seen on Masterduel.

That is too much power 😂. I did run into one who used the Yosenju Otk on me and my gosh it got scary really quick.

So long as a deck relies on their Extra deck monsters, they cry in the presence of Dogmatika. Decks which have a lot of main deck options to remove cards, it will be an up hill battle 🥲

20k can get you close, took me a while to craft the Extra deck. This was my first attempt you can find later versions on the channel. I would say right now it's not a good time to craft this deck in it's pure form. This deck (in pure form) kills any deck relying on it's extra deck, but struggles against main deck cards if it doesn't get a chance to OTK or finish the duel quickly.

Long Answer I built this deck slowly over time, grinding gems through multiple events while I played other decks. This deck has many expensive pieces scattered through many different packs. Some cards, like the boss monster isn't even in a pack yet; you must craft it. @@omegaoppai7632 Drytron easily. Outside of a few festivals, Megalith will be a waste of time, unless you really really really want to challenge yourself. Drytron is fairly decent in it’s pure form. Plus it can be mixed into other strategies to boost it’s power level or support other ritual decks. Disclaimer: i’ve never used the decks myself, these are just my observations from opponents i’ve faced and vidoes i’ve studied.

It just feels like a deck that has that hidden potential waiting to be unlocked. Literally forcing myself to take a break from them to try other things for now 😄 . Still hoping to try the shark version sometime in the future.

No, it didn’t matter what they summoned. What they didn’t understand was the Icejade lockdown. All their monster effects couldn’t activate.

Like i’m trying to say he couldn’t equip anything and he didn’t realize he couldn’t because of the Icejade lockdown and not reading the Icejade cards. So yea no “noob” error was made there. Just the a regular error or not properly reading cards.

I added the 3 Dogmatika Punishments so it could have a better time going first and taking on non extra deck monsters. Of course if you summon "Alba Zoa" first turn you pretty much cripple the opponent's hand and extra deck. You won't be a sitting duck going first, but you definitely want to go second most times. Mainly because "Dogmatikamatrix" requires your opponent to have a monster on field to use it's full effect and you can push for game quicker.

My gosh, $1000 to build Fire king Snake eyes 😮? Here I am as a Masterduel FTP player thinking the gem store is too expensive. Seriously you have fun unleashing the Eygptian Gods. That must be quite the spectacle seeing the crowd cheer you on.

@@CasualKeem it's quite a commitment with the right engine for draw and competitive spells. and later the "spell card" series will be even better for them with the revamped monster reborn and soul exchange.

@@Cardlimits oh wow I had to look up these cards. Honestly a quick play reborn and a non targeting soul exchange, that’s quite the re-imagining. I would have to wait for masterduel but would definitely make use of the Reborn. I like how they gave them actual draw backs, which more cards really need to have.

@@CasualKeem there might be a huge delay for them in master duel. the card artwork is directly from the manga chapters written by kazushi. And like blue eyes alternative ultimate dragon, there will likely be a huge stuggle in incorporating them for some legal reasons I'm not too sure on.

The Masterduel curse is strong. Believing your own creature is so unstoppable that you don't read the clearly dangerous looking boss monster equipped with an animation 😆.

I preferred the Evenly matches mainly for backrow removal. I have the worst luck running into stun and Labrynth players who go first all the”gustav max” where i couldn’t (darn UR 😩) Also i never felt like i was ever in a good position to capitalize on tactics so they felt bricky to me.

​@CasualKeem [Update] Its actually going well, its helping out with board breaking since we are in the negate meta. The icejadeking [I have named myself] is currently on a 14 game win streak and am able to cook snake eye now with some other added changes. I withdrew evenly entirely and added Kingfisher and Aegirocass so I have a bounce and when i get my banishes, have a beatstick

​@@dragoflair3495Oh yea Aegirocass is a lot of fun. I felt I never give Kingfisher the a full chance to shine. It really just came down to playstyle with Kingfisher and I just never enjoyed using it. Also it being level 9 just felt awkward to me. For sure i know without Evenly the deck flows better overall. Again it was just a thing for me running into a lot of backrow heavy decks / stun decks.

Oh so many scoops. I also like being a little cheeky by using the field spell's effect to reduce atk, when I don't have to, in the hopes that it would distract from Kosmochlor.

I know Icejades can support most water decks well but wow you managing with Ursarctic? You have my respect for being one of the few to use Ursarctic at all 😃.

Go for it, it is quite fun. I would say the hardest match ups for it, would be Superheavy and Labrythn. If you go first you have a chance against Superheavy by setting up the lockdown or hoping your disruption is enough. If they go first, it's over. Labrythn is an up hill battle if they go first, especially since most of them I run into now are using "Dimension Barrier". If you go first however, then it's an up hill battle for the Labrynth Player 😁. And the deck is pretty evenly matched with Despia, unless they really build a crazy board or used that stupid gimmick puppet lock and you aren't prepare for it. Diva is the biggest player in the deck. She alone will bring out 2 level 10 synchros like you see in the video. Trust me, Gymir + Barrone or Chengying with erosion may not look like much, but people really think hard to get around them.

"Super Team Buddy Force Unite I had to look that card it 😆. I must say it's a pretty interesting card too. Seems like an interesting card too. Sometimes I find myself wanted the ability to summon Aegirine to search one more time after a play to get extra protection and a search, and I can see "Super Team Buddy Force Unite" being used in a fun way to achieve that. I would love to see how your kaiju version works. Trust me consistency is the down fall of Icejades. I've spent the last two months trying to understand how to get the deck more consistent, and honestly, the deck just isn't built that way. It is a slow control deck at it's core despite our efforts to put some flare into it. Even when it's at it's most consistent, it can only go through so many interruptions. Unlike decks like Branded that just keep going for years without stopping (somehow 😑). Most games if I can't stop maxx C I end up relying on normal summoning Aegirine searching for erosion (pushing for Gymir if i'm bold) and passing turn. And praying my opponent isn't playing Super heavy Samurai. Surprisingly that tiny combination can do a lot against many decks. I also wanted to play around with meta verse, cause I had this vision in my head that it was a way to get the Ice Jade lockdown much easier, but sadly, I just can't be bothered wasting my UR dust to craft it. I'm still very much a free to play player at this time and I want to craft other fun decks after all 😁.

@@CasualKeem Well, for the Kaiju, the goal for the deck is to have the field spell and gamaciel on your side of the field. field spell can search gamaciel on its own if you had 3 cards from on field sent to the gy for the tokens. This is something that can be done with aegirine if you use the link 1 cyberse monster combo of salamangreat almiraj into gardna + cradle (or with a bunch of spell cards that can be used) (Note, starting with metaverse is basically having the kaiju field spell so if I can get gama on the field then I do, else get cradle union in hand as you don't get the "return an icejade from banish or grave" effect if you put it on field with metaverse) And with the Super Buddy Force, I essentially only need to get gama either in my hand in the gy while having an Aqua monster on field (which you likely always will) (And as a fellow free to play player, I understand completely. I only have 1 metaverse too because there is never enough dust)

Sounds very interesting. I have 2 Gameciels at the moment and the field spell is easy to craft, i wonder if I can play around with it 🤔. For sure though I want to try squeezing in Super Buddy Force, that card sounds fun. Maybe i'll try it out during the up coming Synchro/Link festival. Oh darn the Kaiju field spell is banned for the festival. Well Super Buddy Force it is then. From the wording of the card it looks like you can target your opponent's field as well. Is it a case where you can give your opponent Gamciel, and target it to get yourself a play going while removing their monster?

@@CasualKeem I did use Super Buddy force on my stolen Gymir to get aegirine on field, so it likely will work that way too.

Oh yes some of the things you saw were what made me raise an eyebrow to these cards. Also i'm sure they can even do well in the festival. I was going to try them to give myself practice in the hopes of improving this Icejade deck, but just using Rikkas. So far, combined with the Icejades, I've found they added more extension to plays with the link 2 ways to recover and even search cards. However the ranked is not kind right now with Super Heavy Samurais. Breaking their boards has been my main challenge with this deck. Of course I can also be the problem since i'm still learning how these darn Samurais work, and figuring out how to stop them from setting up to begin with 😅. Apart from that these sea dwellers can do some interesting things if we can get past the learning curve. I wish I had the water dragon ruler as well to test out, his effect seems perfect for these cards. All I have is the baby one 😥.

For sure sharks definitely seem to be the most consistent. I’ve also ran into some Kairyu Shin Umi decks. Atlanteans are very fun. They add more searching power and even give the boss monsters more recovery power. Gymir returning from grave is expected but people scoop in fear when they see Chengying rise once more 😂.

The Shark build seems like the more common build, which is why i’m trying out Atlanteans next. Trust me i’ve seen how good sharks are.

Is there ever a time where Albaz players don't cook? Seriously there was a feast in that kitchen, my hope was to sit on two 3000 defense Maximus and hope he didn't get rid of both. Then attempt to use one to bring out "Alba Zoa" next turn of course attempting to bait the Tearlament effect first. Sadly the meal took a little too long for them to cook. Such is the way of the Masterduel timer 😔. I'm sure we've all been there.

That was definitely the dream hand. Felt so good. I’ve actually been stuck in a platinum 2 and 3 loop because my luck with match ups has been quite bad ( just a lot of floodgate and otk players 😞) along with some really bad opening hands for some reason( Masterduel hates me some times). I mean I even ran into a Runick stun player. Runick fountain is at one, why must I still suffer😩? But i’m still playing around with this deck and I really want to get good with it. For now i’ll keep tweaking this one but i’m also working on a bit of a Mermail version as well and we will see how that turns out during the new year 😁.

​@@lunarshadow5584 Of course I would love to compare notes. My deck isn't bad, far from it, I know it can make it higher in the ranks (especially if I stop seccond guessing my plays 😑). It's more just trying to figure out my play-style with it. So i've been experimenting way too much. So some times it's super consistent, but I run into maxx C and ash and Nibiru way too much. I try adding cards to stop them, but that kills consistency. Little things like that. try adding card. or do I want to synchro summon more, or do i prefer pushing for the lock and backrow support. Just a back and forth trying to find that sweet spot i like. I'm still not even sure if I prefer going first or second. Although the more I play the better the deck feels going second sometimes. But yea if you have some input I would love to hear them to know what has worked for you.

Well for Pure Icejades, I find the jadelock to be overestimated for a turn 1 board if you don't have a way to protect it (it being a turn 2 board is good though, especially if able to summon Kosmochlor with the field spell before getting Curse), and the way to protect it is primarily the underestimated continuous trap. It synergizes perfectly with Aegirine in protecting against back row removal as well as countering against all but destruction effects on any water monster (especially useful when you have tremora in gy to resummon Aegirine) I would also say that its more important you get your searches off over countering them so I suggest "Call By" become a staple over Ash Blossom as Maxx-C can only do so much if your end board is to normal aegirine, get the continuous trap and wait a turn OR get Manifestation to summon the Aegirocassis. And Sacred Swords of Seven Stars is also a possibly a better staple as it banishes a level 7 to draw 2, and if you have or draw into Enion Cradle, then there was no drawback. Speak of Aegirocassis, I would argue that getting him in hand alongside Ran is better than Tremora since it buffs so I have at least 2 Cassis as Ran can end up suddenly becoming a Enion Cradle last minute if needed or be used to make your likely Aegirine a bigger monster (Cassis's buff is stackable too, so that's a plus) And lastly, Acti is a more competent alternative to drawing Aegirine, especially if you have Ice barrier in hand or the continuous trap to use her as a negate. But a new way to play Icejade is actually the interesting idea of Using the Kaiju field spell so Gameciel can use his negate. A play that can only happen if you have Tremora to summon him. It's a plus that the field spell can search gameciel and your chances of getting Tremora in hand is 6/40 (7 if you count Burial Goods on Ice Barrier) but I would keep 1 Enion Cradle just in case you want to Kaiju their field and not let them have access to Kaiju's counters.

@@lunarshadow5584 Trust me I know the Jade lock is overestimate 😅. I think I even mentioned it a bit in the video. "Sacred Swords of Seven Stars" did not cross my mind at all. I've seen the Kashtira players running it, but it never clicked for me. The deck is practically full of level 7s, I will definitely give that a look. Although I might be out of SRs to dust. But i'll give it a look. Funnily enough the way I strutured my deck i've never attempted to use Ran's second effect to become Enion Cradle. Feels like your build really doesn't care for getting Maxx C, which I want to play around with. Admittedly i did feel I didn't give the small Icejades like Acti or Tilona a chance to figure out if their strengths. How have your match ups been against decks like: Vanquish soul, and Floo and even stun decks?

I've checked it out and the video seems fine on this end. Tested it on different screens from different people even on phone screens and all reported as fine. So might be an issue particular to yourself. If you are able try it out again or on a different device and let me know if it's still a problem.
