Interesting idea, but the holes create airflow turbulences that slow the ball and shorten the flight. That would no longer work if there was foam inside. But apparently there are other balls too, more like ping-pong balls that are solid and seem to work too. Have not seen them in a shop yet.

@@GolfTesla Indeed. It was implicit however, although not stated explicitly that the holes would be drilled/routed in the final stage of manufacturing. Whether pass through from one side to the other completely or only partially. Reducing ball flight as much as possible while retaining some of the feel and response of a real golf ball is the ultimate objective.

@@zoktoberfest Ah, now I get it. Make foam balls that have airflow holes.. Maybe a marketable idea...

Ich vermute, die schielen auf den US und evgl Kanadischen Markt, wenn sie die bald in Mexiko montieren oder herstellen, denn wegen NAFTA kennen sie so wohl die neuen Zölle für chinesische e-Autos umgehen. Stimmt. Besonders im Sommer habe ich lieber das Schiebedach auf (auch wenn es dann innen etwas lauter wird), als die Klimaanlage an zu haben.

Das war ein Freund von mir, der dort seinen Ball suchte.. Fische habe ich da nicht gesehen; dafür im kleinen See daneben Wasserschildkröten und eine Iguana..

Toll. Ich fand den auch ganz niedlich. Bis zum Nordkap damit zu fahren dürfte wohl kompliziert werden, aber der Microlino scheint einen gelungenen Start gehabt zu haben (anders als der SONO).

You are right.. I did not have a tripod with me so it was complicated or rather impossible to hold the camera with one hand, have the watch on the other wrist AND press a button or scroll. But you are right, I could have taken the watch off and put it down somwhere to film it. But it is really just using your finger and either scrolling on the touch sensitive screen or by pressing the + or - sign, as I mention in the video.

Yes. the first screen counts, or should count, the total number of strokes, including a presumed number of 2 putts. I use the watch mainly just to know the distances and rarely keep score with it. But your comment, thanks for it, motivates me to keep score in one of my next rounds, being more aware of any "tricks" or faults of the watch while doing so. If I note anything special, I can post an update here.
