I'm sure it's the general consensus that this knife has an incredible build quality, steel, blade shape, action, etc. Still unfortunate about that clip...even if you got the tension fixed, it still seems a bit awkward. It appears to me that when you're actually wearing it, the "twist" in the fabric with the pressure against your body, might help hold it in place. Have you tried it on?

the blade shape has the leaf style...like a Barong or a Kukhri. I can dig it....

I have both models and the pocketclip is not actually a pocket clip. If i were to use the knives I would have a leather holster made up for it and hang it on my belt. I just wish TWOSUN would have a website so we could provide feedback.

I honestly think wong is their weakest designer. I question whether he even carries the designs he puts out. I've had 2 of his, and thank goodness i got them both from White Mountain because i returned them both as they just were not designed well. Thumb studs placed in the wrong postion pocket clip that's so tight u couldn't get a sheet of paper under it, let alone put it in ur pants. Kinda sad cause he has some cool designs, but i refuse to buy any more made by him. I did order the new ts483. im looking forward to getting that one in hand to check it out they just got put up for sale on wmk

I keep adding both versions of this knife to my eBay watchlist, but just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on it because of the clip position.

I like this knife enough that I bought both version's of it if I could get my hands on the original kobold in titanium I'd own one of those to I really like this design great video man 👍the kubey elang is designed by the same designer as the kobold 2 good knives

This knife looks almost perfect to me, but I don't like choking up on a blade either. I'd be interested in knowing how the 4v sharpens up.

Interesting note, the Kobold was a Dragon character from dungeons and dragons. If you Google it you'll see. The knife looks like a sleeping dragon when closed and awake when opened. Once you see it you can't unsee it. Amazing how the visual design elements have a practical purpose as well.I recently picked up the knife myself. Love it. Appreciate your videos and disassembly. I love the Kobold 2, I have the 4V and 154CM versions of it.

Another note, because I train for personal protection I'm concerned about the 'reach' that a knife has when gripped as opposed to the actual blade length. The reach of this blade is really nice when taking a regular grip and is much longer than knives with a longer actual blade length. Great review again.

I have the same Kobold and LUV it! I totally agree about the grip and don't do that choke up grip deal either. For me, this is more of a PPC (personal protection carry) k ife primarily and utility EDC secondarily. I believe the designer had that in mind as well...hence he had a dragon in mind with the design. This blade is wicked with the action and and sharpness. Has made me actually like front flippers too.

This my favourite I bought it when he was brand new in the end of 2023 I think. Excellent knife, that cuts everything, the steel is so hard but I like that.The 4V steel has the same chemistry elements like the Magnacut and little bit hardness the Magnacut.I will never buy the expensive Magna.

Years ago before I knew any better I had bought a fake version of this knife the blade said 20cv but I don't think it was 20cv because I was on a ladder like 4 rungs up and dropped it and the blade snapped man I was pissed and hey man atleast you ate talking to yourself anymore great video man 👍

White mountain knives is selling some discounted for this effect same detent issue. So I think they might all be like this, but I just bought one 😅

3:00 Those are not designed to be used for any style of opening (they’re just stop studs). I’m surprised you can open yours off them because most people can’t and I’ve asked four people-you’re the only one I’ve seen do it… It would’ve been nice if they were just regular studs and it was tuned to use them. What is a great deal on a 0562?

Just got mine. Bloody gorgeous little thing. A hair awkward, but let's see how she does after a week or two. Maybe I'll get used to it. Pretty much just the right size for edc. She'll be put through brutal paces with me.

This Zero 0562 is one of my favourite ZT's, the shape of the blade is classic and the 20CV steel and in titanium is flawless.

You're definitely not just talking to yourself. I appreciated the life advice in the middle. Sometimes things just feel really rough, especially when the hits are close to home. Another nice knife, keep 'em coming.

Great knife, just a bit larger than I find I wanna carry on a daily basis. Might make a good hunting knife. I saw the ts458 has a blade shape a bit similar to this is s90v, a little more of a spear point than the belly.

Yup, love the TS437. Love knives that fill the hand and this one is a beastly beauty. Such a great design, such a great build. My only gripe, and it's no big deal because I know how to avoid it, is the blade bite. Let the meat of your hand get on the spine of the handle and when closing the blade will cut you every time. Easy to avoid though by just turning the knife a little in your hand when closing, but still a nuisance. Love your channel immensely, you do the best "down and dirty and get to it" videos around. My ADD loves it!!! Keep it up!! Also...EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! If you don't know what that means, I'm basically a lanyard freak, I have over 400 easily around here.
