Kind of sad that you didn't bother to find the correct size of washers for mounting it to the dock and at 0:19 there is a mounting bolt completely missing.

In this video you put all that leveraged twisting stress on a single board. I can only imagine that board won't hold up to this very long before it's ripped off the dock frame. If it was tied into the other boards to fight the twisting forces I can see this working out quite well.
We were thinking of putting a small motor on this and making a crude pontoon boat. Do you see any problem with that?
Be careful Swinging an ax on something like that with the blade pointing upward. It could bounce off the plastic and hit you in the face. Just letting you know because that would probably happen to me..
How can you possibly get this thing out of the water in the fall?. Seems like it would be unbelievably heavy.

Forty eight holes for forty eight carriage bolts. This is a lot of work. I would recommend not purchasing most of the hardware and just using some extra galvanized screws in the wood. It will make the whole structure lighter and easier to remove in the off season.
Does this dock system need to be removed for the winter? ( Ice )
Do you have to take it out if the water freezes?
My grandfathers dock business we wouldn’t take the docks out for winter but we would store all the floaters in another area in one location together still in the water and tie them all together. The hinges definitely made it easy
