Thats a charge coin. Before credit cards companies would give their employees a charge coin so they can go to a store and purchase things on credit. The number on the back is the employees assigned number so when they go to the store the owner of the store can reference to a list that the company had already sent them. Side note: If the person loses their charge coin and somebody tries to use it they cant because they have to know the name it was assigned to. Do you have anymore interesting finds around the Somerset area?

It's a good quality digger! Not the best tool for sidewall targets or shallow targets in hard ground. Use the Nokta digger for these things. The side kick is awesome in a relic dump 💪
Always carry a magnet...if it doesn't stick to magnet..it's gold probably

Like those seated dimes, got my first one years ago outside of a golf course near Rosevelt St, my best find was 16 silver dollars in Inez Texas and went back the next day and got 3 more (2004) I'm sure there is more dollars {1800's}but my hunter partner passed away (2017) and he had the OK to hunt there. don't know who would own that vacant lot now.
Wow yes here in San Antonio the gulf course was built over the old fairgrounds I’m not sure if cur strips are free game
The fair grounds I had read somewhere were closer to the river on the east side of the Roosevelt street, where I found my dime I believe might have been older homes that were knocked down on the west side. I used an Explorer 11 back then and now looking for a less deeper unit like Tesoro.

Oh wow Floresville is really historic what’s some of the things you’ve found out there I don’t hunt tool much in the summer because of the heat and I do AC work happy hunting
@DiggingTime I havent been put much here I moved here from Colorado 3 years ago and have only got acess to one property so far and have only been able to go out once. I did find a bullet from the 1950s there but that is is so far.
I love my Grave Digger! The long hand guard allows me to use the heel of my left hand to put all my upper body weight on the digger. It cuts through thick bermuda grass and small tree roots with ease! It’s built like a tank! I guarantee I’ll never break it or wear it out!

The clear ones will turn an amethyst when left out in the sun for a while... Clear ones with nothing on them are known as slicks.

I hope you kept the boken bottles. The one squat bottle short and fat . Is possibly the most valuable even broken if you found all the pieces. Onion bottles got to the pilgram days and are thousands of dollars even if broken . Just try to glue together perfectly. The biggest misconception is broken bottles are worthless. Not true . They are half price if broken. There is a resell show with broke bottles. All selling for 75 to 100 bucks
The one you called s heartbreak er is possibly the most valuable. If is all there in pieces. The inkwell wori60 bucks the hutch bottles start at a hundred dollars and go up to thousand or two thousand

That is a long way to dig for a handful of bottles! If the place you are digging is old enough to produce Hutchinson sodas then I would imagine there would be some outhouses out back somewhere. You wouldn't have to dig so far if you found those! Might invest in buying some probes if you don't have any yet.

Do not sell those bottles.
The bottles could be one of a kind or only one known to exist. And that can make them worth thousands. The one with all the mud in the bottom is a wine bottle. The short squat bottle is a onion bottle and are worth hundreds maybe thousands even broken and glued together
I really hope you kept the broken one . There is a big misconception that broken bottles are worthless. Not true

My sidekick has a tiny hole at the end of the rubber handle, probably a manufacturer defect in the rubber. Eric is a great dude to deal with, and he builds everything himself by hand, and if there is an issue, he will make it right.

@DiggingTime I abuse mine and they take everything I throw at them I've even had to use my nemesis to hack a path through the woods and it handled it with no damage

I've bent my nokta several times. Been using a lesche for a year and a half never looking back. I've used 10 or 12 different diggers over the years.

@@raybrock5917 my favorite is the raptor from predator tools it’s my go to but I use the Nokta for shallow targets
I snapped the CKG 😂 has the best handle, i.e., like the white's digger but the blade is cheap.
