Have you ever wanted to keep some piece of jewellery to yourself because it looks stunning but you sold it because you could get a lot of money out of it? Just curious

I find it hard to believe that nobody at goodwill wouldn't scan any piece of jewelry thoroughly. Everyone is in need of money and to find jewelry where family didn't check and also goodwill staff. This seems a little staged.

Too bad the jewelry was all gone. I bet there had been so great stuff, especially the vintage periods of the 50s, 60s, 70s and so forth. Older and younger too. Based on how well they kept boxes and items tagged with the movie history of each piece, there must have been some unique, wonderful things that would be interesting to so many kinds of people! Be careful with that 18 k testing sterling, it gives false positives. Took mine to my jeweler and they showed me why we should not be using the 18 kt. Different compositions. White stones are good for sterling.

For the set, my guess would be cigarette case as back in the day, cigarettes were shorter, often having no filter. Also, on a night out in a stylish nightclub, the lady would want a fabulous matching set for discreetly touching up her makeup and enjoying a cigarette while sipping her cocktail.

It only took me one Blue Box too realize , that these boxes very are overrated and not worth what is paid for them , they like too throw plenty of JUNK onto these lots , they take all the worthwhile pieces especially gold and silver and list them online, so they can make even more money , then they claim that there's such wonderful items , in my opinion they misrepresent these boxes , I think alot of resellers have realized , that it's not worth the time or money involved , the one I purchased was from the area that the box in this video came from, ironically I bought one of their craft lots and it was by far better than the wearable one

I have that pearl heart necklace,it was in the 90s you buy an oyster and it comes with the necklace if you take it off the chain the heart basket opens you can use it for bigger stones too

Hi The Indian jewelry piece that you picked at 4:40 is a ear-ring, if the other end had a hook then it would be hooked in the hair. If you google "jhumka earring with hair chain" you will see how it is worn. These are normally worn on special events, weddings, festivals, etc. But in this one, the chain just goes over the ear, the loop at the end goes behind the ear. "jhumka earring with ear chain" supports the weight of the earring so the ear holes dont get stressed. The jade necklace set at 07:00 is an Indian "chokar necklace".
