Such a treat for this crowd for having two unbelievable legends sharing the stage on that night. Big up John Mayer!!!!! PS: for those who dont know, John is filling arenas with (t)his Solo Set worldwide. I was also lucky to be there in the O2 Arena in London. Both John Mayer as well as Ed Sheeran deserve every appreciation.

I've seen JM several times, and his recent solo concert! He is out of this world insanely musically gifted. To come to an ED concert, and John Mayer just walks in to open up, I would be full of emotions. I love love love JM so much! ❤❤❤

Seriously thought John was wearing a T shirt of a popular courier. So cool. Isn’t it amazing how just one voice and one acoustic (no layering and banking of additional sounds) can carry so well.

Disclaimer: I like Ed Sheeran a lot; his style, his skills and the way he performs live are fantastic. JM's performance of Gravity here is an education in live guitar playing. He blends rhythm with melody and solos in the moment without a pedal in sight. I cannot fathom the skill involved in doing that while singing at the same time! The man is a master. What a treat to see shows like this, thanks for posting.

Hate him or love him, Ed's the only guy who has the balls to play arenas all by himself with only a guitar, a looper and a microphone. Hella respect. Plus he figured out how to play the charts, came up starting busking in the streets and got his fans one by one! And, he beat John flat out in his own category BIG time and they're still friends. Ed is a hell of a guy. Y'all need to get some respect for him regardless of taste...yes I do prefer John but he's cool af!!!

Extremely impressive 30:04 it almost seems like he can't get it to work and then it clicks. It was such a casual set as an opener I think he might have actually figured it out on the spot.
