    If I wanted to have to read the tutorial I would have googled it. I expect sound on CZcams. And not just background music.

    I went to store to buy the artificial flowers but looked at them and looked sort of tacky. Would you recommend using real flowers?

    How do you keep the tape tight while applying to the wire? It is not sticky and doesn't stay on the wire, it just twirls off as I try to wrap it.

      That's odd - I always assumed that floral tape was just that - tape! I checked Joann's and they seem to have one, called Panacea. Good luck! Otherwise, I like this tutorial as it's straight forward and blessedly free of music! : }

      Jessica L. Taipale The trick is to stretch the tape before you put it on the wire and just continue to stretch it as you move. It also helps if the tape is warm so you can put it between your legs or in your bra and work with it from there! :)

    How do you keep the hooks to thread the ribbon secure and strong? do you have any tips for keeping the flowers looking fresh all day in the sun?

      Hi Amba. Here's a note from the florist, Flowers by Janie... You should use a thick wire like a 16 or 18 gauge floral wire. The thicker the wire the more secure and strong the hooks will be. To keep it fresh all day bring a spray bottle of water along with you and occasionally mist the crown. This should help it stay fresher.
