@@Aldericky ah ok. Besides the 3 lifts in the North Grand stand which are from 1980/1981, the installation year of the others in the main wing are unknown. They’re definitely additional installs throughout the many refurbishments and expansions of the originally liftless building from the 1930s. Some seems to be from the 60s/70s with V key and the Otis decal on the door tracks, others seem to be newer and using drop key for the doors with no otis decal on the door tracks.

@@Aldericky ZHD managed to find footage on the National Archives of Singapore which showed a lot of footage of this place back in 1999 when Turf Club was moving out and just before the place was converted to Turf City and the lifts were modernised by Kone. Even then all the lifts that he managed to film in the video (there was a lift E which used V key) were using spec 60 buttons. This makes me suspect otis modernised or if not refurbished the earlier installs from the 60s/70s as those using V key are definitely aren’t from the 80s. By then all would’ve used drop key. Also I wonder if that lift E could have been the missing lift 8 you and ZHD weren’t able to find. The first floor lobby surroundings doesn’t look like those lift 1-7 and 9 are using

Only five known places in SG have that scrolling indicator from what I know, this place, Golden Mile Tower, Millenia Walk, Wisma Alsagoff and Cairnhill Plaza (the rarer vandal resistant variant) because back then there was already a different Singaporean variant that had an arrow (the one seen at Compass One) though it’s quite common in HK and TH. I remembered two apartments in Jakarta, ID had it too together with red up and green down arrows but one was destroyed by OTIS and the other modded by Schindler with Vander indicators At the same time the freight elevator is the only 90s Schindler in SG with a Toshiba-like indicator.
