What a roller coaster, what a finish! What legends were born on that field. You can't write this 😅 The pinkmen were the last, and they faced down what can only be named as the slayer and redeemed themselves! (And the fact that it was their only kill makes it all the more hilarious!)

This video proves beyond a doubt that eastern infantry are a hard counter to berserkers. You should always recruit eastern infantry when fighting Germania as the Parthians.

I am really proud of these guys, they are beast with shiled wall at bridge defence battle❤ Those immortal maces are Armor Piercing damage, thus they got solid kills vs palatina.

So Shield Wall does help them fight better vs Cavalry. The main issue is the initial formation makes them too vulnerable to flanking, though I have found if one spreads out the Shield Wall to be as wide as possible, it ends up negating that effect in 1v1 fights to the point it makes them way more effective then outside of it.

I'm curious to see if Iberian infantry do better than Eastern infantry now. They have better morale, which might make up for their worse stats If the Eastern infantry had not broken, they'd have won, though almost all of the 1st units would have died lol

that was the weakest charge i've ever seen in a total war also if you're doing shieldwall, maybe also do a try with guard mode on, i wonder if the cohesion will help the inf or it will help the cav because it looked like they were pushing into the cavs and surrounding them
It's only weak because they are charging into the toughest Spearmen in all of RTW.

When I used Clibinarii vs spear infantry usually run away to the point where enemy is "exhausted". 3 Clibinarii units broke 10 middle tier infantry.

I was wondering if the real elite nature of the cavalry unit + Armour Piercing would still be enough to overcome the Anti-Cav bonus of this spear unit. Turns out it wasn't.

OK, did not expect that but then again, Auxilia Palatina outnumber the Clibinarii Immortals by at least 3 to 1. And it is elite spear infantry with bonus vs cavalry and spear wall, I should not be so surprised.

Its Elite Spear Infantry with High tier barracks, of course they will gv good account on themself😂 Shield walls dont help much against immortal's armor piercing mace though
