Hiking in Kufstein | Relaxed 1 day Trip from Munich
In this video I'm showing you very cool hiking route in Kufstein which is suitable for small kids. The route will give stunning views on Kufstein Festung (Fortress), river Inn and cool mountains around.
I will also describe here how to get to Kufstein from Munich by train.
I like Austrian Alps, they are definitely more "monumental" comparing to most of Bavarian Alps.
In the end of the route there are two nice and warm lakes: Hechtsee and Längsee. Were you can relax, swim, eat ... or whatever you want.
Enjoy.

    We’re planning a trip to Bavaria, and we’d love to go to Fussen. But I’m not sure we can figure out how to use the trains. Will 7 minutes be enough time to figure out the location of the next train? If we miss the train, do we need to purchase another ticket?

    Hi. I need more details about validating train and tram tickets. I'm travelling to Germany next week, most of the trips by DB train that I'm making were booked online, do I need to print and my DB tickets validated before getting on the train. Tram tickets for Munich will be bought from a ticket machine.

    I wanted to say thank you! I found your video while in Munich and wondering which way on Google Maps was best. It was overwhelming. Then I found this video and my panic attack was gone! I ordered my Bavarian ticket in 2 mins after I watched your video. Super easy and since it was unlimited we were able to come back a little early and had the pass for the metro/tram. Also, we did have the German police on our train and I did have our passports just in case!!! Thanks again. More people need to see this. It was the easiest and most affordable option.

    Thank you for such a nice informative video. But the 'Garmisch Summer Ticket' is only available from May to November 30th. So, for this time in winter season I think the cheapest option is to buy a 49€ 'Deutschland Ticket' and then buy a 68€ ticket for the Cogwheel train and cable car ride (round trip) from Zugspitze station. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. I have a plan to visit 'Zugspitze' from Frankfurt next week.

    • @TheWeisswurstChannel
      @TheWeisswurstChannel Před 6 měsíci

      Yes, you can do like this. But check the weather very carefully before you go. There's a big chance that the cogwheel will not elevate you to the very top because of weather.

  • @lp4michi406
    @lp4michi406 Před 7 měsíci

    Maybe to correct the part around 4:00, both the S-Bahn and U-Bahn don't run all through the night (for now). The last journeys towards the end points are around 1:30 AM. On weekends, additional trains (called "Nachtschwärmer") are travelling around 2:30 AM. However, every rule needs it exception. Line S8 runs between the western part of the city and Munich Airport all night but with a very stretched interval (talking about every 40mins to hourly service). Within Munich, you may use NightTrams or NightBuses. On weekdays, a solid network runs in an hourly interval, while on weekends it is really extended (both on the intervals and the network itself).
