Dear Lord I offer up my sufferings, those of my loved ones and all those suffering around the world to You, through Christ our Lord. 🙏 ❤
Father, would you please tell me the story of your friend who went to the seminary kicking and screaming? I might know someone that needs to hear that (me, I’m that someone. And I very much don’t want to hear it!)
Thank you Father so much for these videos. I appreciate your warm hearted honesty, your take on things and in general nice presentation of the material. I find these explanations of different monastic lives very interesting.
They may not have a brewery but they certainly have a distillery at La Grande Chartreuse, they make Chartreuse liqueur. I´m not personally religious but saw "Into Great Silence" and found it somehow profoundly moving.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you Father, I’ve always been and probably always will be skeptical about just about everything I hear, but your video has given me guidance. I need to understand that it’s OK to be skeptical, and to not understand, but to do so from a place of faith - and most importantly, not give up. Thank you again.
Such a beautiful description of an indescribable faith. There is nothing exciting or secretive about the Carthusian monks. They are simply praying for humanity. Just beautiful. Thank you.

Thank you Fr. Stephen
You sound almost apologetic about Boniface taking the axe to the oak of Geismar!
I can see the maronite saints icon on your wall Fr. Thank u
Thank you for this presentation. If we partake in Christ's sufferings, we have fellowship with Him.
Thank you for this presentation. At key times in my life, I have profited much from Catholic teaching, looking beyond my protestant upbringing and life. Now I'm retired and your presentation has touched me deeply again.
Well said, even if we don't live like a monk, we have times of solitude and we can learn from others. I'm retired and have struggled with the isolation suddenly thrust upon me.
This is so wonderful! Thank you very much Fr Wang.
❤❤❤ Thankyou, great 😅 Lecture GodBless.
Please Fr Stephen, replace the word Christian with the word Catholic because the word Christian incorrectly includes protestant’s who are NOT Christian! Only Jesus can found a Church NOT man. The Bible a Catholic book condemns protestantism and orthodoxy. And the orthodox have NO sacrament’s. It’s just Catholic NOT Catholic Christian. God bless. Ps please pray for Erin May me simon and our intention’s thank you. Also it’s Catholic priesthood NOT Christian.
In the footsteps of Christ film❤
Thank you 🙏
It seems that the Rosary to pray for nine days with this Novena is the Glorious Mysteries because both Jesus' Ascension and the Descent of the Holy Spirit are part of the Glorious Mysteries.
Thank you sooo much!!
Love how she leads us home to our Father's graces 🎂🎉 God bless your wisdom to keep her Light of Faith living Father♥️
Is it true that they pray the divine office as well as the little office of the blessed Virgin Mary everyday?

Thank you
Thank you fr. Your advice will help a ĺot, it makes me understand more about suffering and will keep this in mind. God bless you.
I like how you explain the process of how to understand the ways of the carmelites, being a very ordinary person, I can relate and grasp how you explain these. Thank you for your awesome time and effort. Appreciate it.
Hello, thank you for making this video available. Just started Day1 with you from Singapore. I am a 54 year old Catholic woman.
Thank you Father I am from Canada thank you for spreading the word and teaching us about the nine day novena ❤
Will the consecration to Mary be valid if i made it while having a mortal sin?
One of the steps of the consecration is to go to confession. Just plan to confess your mortal sin and take the Eucharist on the 33rd day.
Father, I just discovered your channel. I came across your channel while I was looking into. Saint Anselm. Truly revelatory. I’m learning so much about the early church.Consider me a fan. I see you have not uploaded anything in the past four months, not even for Easter. I pray all is well. Thank you, and God bless you.
Btw, I’m a huge fan of Tolkien. And GK Chesterton. And CS Lewis. And just about anything British. Liverpool FC fan, too.
This was wonderful! It ended absolutely beautifully.

Only Jesus christ has the power and authority to make intercession for us in Heaven. No other saint - Prophets, mother Mary, Disciples of Jesus or any other People who's souls are in paradise. 💥Hebrews 7:22-28 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. And they, who truly were many priests, because they were not allowed to continue their priesthood by reason of death: But this man( Jesus) because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing, HE ever liveth to make intercession for them( only He liveth) For such an high priest became like us, who is Holy, Harmless, Undefiled, Separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Does the Bible record any statement of Jesus , in which He said, we can ask, or pray to: any prophets, saints of the church, mother Mary or His disciples, to inspire God to give what we adk for !!??? Did Jesus say that such prayers will be answered speedily and definitely!!!???? NO!!! He said : pray ,ask ,in My Name - JESUS NAME ! Who has authority to decide , other than Jesus Christ the Lord, the Saviour and God himself , as, to whom to pray to or whom to ask or through whom to pray, to get our prayers answered !!??? Now in certain beliefs, Why is mere human beings allowed to decide, or how could mere himan beings decide and teach, whom to pray to or through whom to pray!!??? We should follow the Words and teaching of Jesus, isnt it!!!??? St John 15:7 Jesus Christ said: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. St John 14:14-15 Jesus Christ said: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
