I love this so much. Not only was it on time, but it was also so profoundly specific to what I am going through right now. God prepared him, God opened the door and God will sustain him as he takes the next step. I love that he prayed before answering the question. I believe the closer we draw to God the more acutely aware we become of the (now bridged gap) that Christ connected for us to gain direct access to His Father. The more I see, accept and embrace God’s undeserved Grace, the more awestruck I become when I think of the Lord’s unconditional love for me. I have also become more alert to the machinations of the enemy - especially when he directs accusations at me about not being deserving of God’s unmerited favour. The irony of all of this is that I DO NOT deserve God‘s favour, but God Himself has seen fit to grant it to me, because of the selfless sacrifice of Jesus His Son. So yes, at times when I am prone to beat myself up because of my perceptions about my lack, inadequacy, or inability, I am always reminded by the Holy Spirit that I am seen as righteous in God‘s eyes; not because of my behaviour, or lack thereof, but because of Jesus’ righteousness, which now clothes me. Thank you so much Dannielle, for your timely word of encouragement.
