Oxygen does not burn it is inflammable. It makes flammable material burn easier as it is an oxidizer. The poor venting, compression, and likey to hot polymer is to blame. Oxygen is an element it bonds off but does not burn.

How do you clean it out at the end of a run? Because if it solidifies in there, you’re screwed
get it while it is hot, from bamboo putty knife or brass, maintain heat control, and complete disassembly of die and melt flange before cooling down. setting up cleaning process tools beforehand.

This is true for unidirectional flow and when the flow front is not expanding or contracting.

At 01:30 you state that infra-red (IR) radiation is hotter than EMR in the visible spectrum - however, in 1900, Max Planck discovered that the reverse is in fact the case, contradicting the findings of astronomer William Herschel who first discovered the infra-red spectrum in an experiment with a glass prism 100 years earlier in 1800, and as it turned out a century later, while his findings were correct, his conclusions weren't, due to a crucial flaw in his experiment. That infrared radiation has a higher intensity than the visible spectrum has been an enduring myth, not only in the 19thC, but the 20thC, and still now in the 21stC, somewhat exacerbated by the current controversy about the heat content of carbon dioxide (CO2). Rather than IR radiation having the greater intensity, with both CO2 and plastics, which as you know are composed of hydrocarbons (carbon, oxygen & hydrogen elements), it is the carbon bonds in both substances that are more susceptible to EMR in the IR spectrum that results in more heat absorption in both cases, which in turn results in more latent heat absorption in the case of CO2 and greater plasticity in plastics.
