Sorry. I didn’t make one. I can film it on the next Tahoe wrap I do though. As long as you make sure that set screw is all the way back, all you will need to do is insert the handle then tighten the screw while applying light pressure on the handle and it will set back into place once the screw is tight enough.

I used a t20. I have a '24 tahoe in my shop right now and it takes a t20 as well!

If the handle has light, then I would wrap around them. As far as sensors goes, all of the handles that I’ve wrapped have textured plastic where the sensors are which wouldn’t get wrapped. I don’t believe vinyl is thick enough to mess with sensors unless you’re using chrome.

We purchase full rolls which are 5’ wide and 75’ long in this particular brand

One of the four didn't get pulled back in when I tightened the screw so I had to use a pick tool to pull the lever back out and loosen the screw to try again. It went back in easy on the second attempt.

Sure, but it wasn’t worth the risk for me. With all of the directions that part of the tundra goes, I felt it was much safer and much more secure to avoid the risk of over stretching by doing it in two pieces. Also with the end result hiding the overlap on those two body lines I’d say everyone is a winner. That customer can’t see the overlap and that car will never come back to my shop for a warranty. At the end of the day I’d rather have a happy customer by putting out a solid install with a high success rate than be a one piece hero.

Thank you! This was done in Avery Dennison gloss black. It’s definitely doable, and will be much easier if you order good vinyl like Avery SW900 or 3M 2080. Those cheaper vinyls are hard to work with. Make sure you watch a lot of tutorials, get the right tools and take your time. Cleaning the car properly is the most important step of wrapping. Post heating is the next most important step.

Thank you, and agreed. Teslas are already basic colors. This is the third customer I’ve had that had their Tesla wrapped a basic color.

There are a lot of variables such as where you are located, the size of your vehicle, the type of film you would like on your vehicle, and the experience level of the installer. I would say for standard color change done by a wrap shop you can expect to pay anywhere from $2,500 - $6,000. Textures and color shifts are more expensive, but chrome is the most expensive.

@@22VBWRX having it painted right is quite a bit more expensive. However paint lasts a lot longer than a wrap. Most wraps should be removed within 3-4 years depending on weather conditions and UV exposure. If you’re looking to permanently change the color of your car, paint is technically more cost effective in the long run.

There are a lot of variables. It depends on your location, the size of a car, and the type of material used. Best way to get an accurate quote would be to call or email your local wrap shop!
