Can take mri test without sedation pill?
what is CDI? Please explain!
Ese contraste me pone tan mal por esa sensación de vómito y no hay manera como sacar la cabeza por que ya tiene la máquina encima dando vueltas y en alguna vez casi e broncoaspirado eso y es terrible...como también alguna gente no les pasa nada
Can you accommodate a pacemaker patient?
Is it bad for your health to get more than 2 MRI scans on your brain in a 2 month period??
Been waiting on mines for the last 2 months have 18 days left to go 😂 can't wait
Thank you for the video. I had this upright MRI in another state (4/18/24) for cervical neck issues. I'm very claustrophobic and had no issues with claustrophobia. The chair was already moved back in the center. I just went in and sat down and they put a cervical collar around my neck. Actually, from the patients (my) perspective, looking out-word, (from my view) it was a little more open then what the camara person is showing in this video. I have broad shoulders that were touching the sides (of the magnets), but I was not uncomfortable. My only issue, it was warm in there (stuffy). The sides of the magnets were warm. They had a fan on a table in front of me which I asked them to turn on. They also had a TV on the wall for me to watch. The MRI test took about a 35 minutes. I just needed to hold my neck still. Not the easy thing to do. If your claustrophobic this type of MRI is the way to go. I hope my experience helps those who were wondering.
Ese estudio solo dura quizá un minuto es más lok se dura preparando a uno que lo que le hacen .se siente un caliente dentro del cuerpo pero eso es normal yo me hice una hoy
I can’t have an MRI I have a pacemaker so now what?
I have a pacemaker as well. Even though my Medtronic pacemaker is "MRI safe" the stand alone MRI facilities in the DFW area all refused me. Only places that would do it were hospitals that either already have the pacemaker diagnostic equipment or have a representative from the pacemaker manufacturer there with you while the MRI is done. Also it has to be a 3T MRI as the 1.5T doesn't provide the needed resolution.
Crap image quality...looks like images from the late 80s

Is there one in Oregon
Replying for a recent experience. Just had this done two hours ago. I felt a poke and a sting for no more than two seconds, and that was it. I spent so much time worrying over this and felt like an idiot once it was done lol. The MRI wasn’t exactly comfortable but it wasn’t bad at all. I did not have a history of dislocation, so those that have dislocated their shoulder before could have a different experience when it comes to the “arm over head” imaging. Relax, and don’t sweat it!
I just love the way they use the word uncomfortable instead of admitting that it will hurt.
Discomfort just another word for pain.
Everyone body is different I have to get another transvaginal ultrasound tomorrow it wasn’t painful for me. The best advice is to not tense or clench vaginal muscles. Make sure they use enough lubrication and it should slide right in. It was quick too. This is way more comfortable than a Pap smear
Oh my God I don't want a CT if you're going to slice my brain apart with a bread knife. That woman did not explain the CT very well whatsoever! Next time use another f****** analogy
I just had mine yesterday. I'd describe it as a "walk in the park." The only discomfort, if you could call it that, was when the lidocaine needle went deep into the breast, for about three seconds. Also, my biopsy needle was different that what is described here. It was more of a vacuum that pulled tissue samples from my breast. No pain whatsoever, just some vibrations. Everything else was easy. Now begins the waiting game ....
Once i almost ripped the emergency ball that is you press it the mri would atop and the one operating the mri would come to you and take you out. I ripped mine and for 2 - 3 hours it was just a bell ringing.
I could do it only if my head remained outside.
Alli me dormi xd
Having this done tomorrow... hopefully it's not too painful!
My experience was that I felt the prick of the needle when he numbed me, but not the actual injection of dye. However, after the MRI is when I started to feel pain and discomfort. I had it in my hip. After has been the worst of it...hopefully it starts to get better within the next few days!
MRI scan nearly 20 years ago, was the worst experience of my life
I tried this machine for a cervical neck MRI. The chair “flips” backward and it is horrible. I noped right on out of it in under 2 minutes. Ending up getting mine done in the pancake style open MRI. Doc prescribed me a Xanax before too lol. Much better.
Que contiene el líquido de contraste?
I won’t sugar coat it for anyone. It might hurt for you. It’s different for everyone. I’m twenty and just recently had this done. I seen my PCP a few months ago. And never seen an OBGYN before. But I’ve had to have so many tests done. I have pelvic organ prolapse and ovarian cancer recently diagnosed. (I’ve also never been sexually active so that could explain partly why I was in so much pain. But seriously get what you need to get done! It may be saving your life ❤
Hello, I had ct scan and after that my body started smell really weird for two weeks like before scan everything was fine I’m really worried can you tell me what to do ?
Nada de esto es peligroso
I have Endometriosis.......how can prevent Not to have pelvic ultrasound......yes it true patient can be medicated...
If you do an abdominal mri in this machine will your head be outside the tube?
CT takes 30 minutes ,MRI 5 minutes I've been in both this week CT scan takes 45 minutes MRI 10 minutes, CT scan is more intense 😢
1:55 truth
nope, once I was raised, tilted back and then sucked back into the machine with the walls squeezing me from both sides I had to get out. I'll stick with the new Tesla wide MRI's instead.
How come you don't show it move the chair up, tilt it backwards and slide back into the machine like mine did? This is not the full effect of this machine.
I'm gonna get me sonogram on March the 6th but at first I was supposed to go get one today but I wasn't comfortable because I'm on my period.
How was it? I may have to get one some time in the future to check for PCOS and I’m freaking out. I’m 18 and never been to an obgyn and never had to have that part exposed for anyone. It all sounds extremely vulnerable and extremely violating and I’m terrified if I have to do it
Have any overweight women had this done and can you please give some feedback? I am worried about the pain having extra belly fat as I don’t know if they will need to dig more. Sorry for TMI but any feedback would be highly appreciated!
It is fine, even if you are overweight. (No, it’s not fun. But hopefully it will go well for you💛)
It’s not TMI at all, I was wondering the same thing for myself
I have such severe headaches. The Myelo was carried out on Monday, today is Thursday. As soon as I sit, I get horrific pain and nausea. How long does it take for the headache to be gone again? I drink a lot of water..
This is what I am going thru
Is it me or does everyone feel like they need to scratch an itch as soon as you’re in the mri tube ?😫
My head has been stuck in a forward posture and I cannot bring it up or back too much without a great deal of pain. I even took muscle relaxers and Xanax. Will I need to pull my neck back and my head up for this?
Very very helpful
This wouldn't even help me. It's not only the small space that is terrifying. It's having my head stuck in that coil. even if I can see, I will have a massive panic attack if I can't easily get my head out of that thing by myself. I have PTSD and a massive fear of being held down or trapped. I haven't slept at night since finding out I need a brain MRI. I might just not do it and put up with dizziness and daily non stop headaches. 😭
Rayus in Maplewood and Woodbury clinics and i called them to cancel my appointment and they transferred to one person then send me to another place. Pick up and talk to the patients instead of ignoring them. Im should the other staff is good. Front desk staff wont give me a appointment down the line. Im never ever go there no more.

My first one is tomorrow 😭trying to prepare myself for this goodness

@@ItsTeezii yes, mine went just fine. Thanks!! And congratulations on your baby boy🩵🩵🩵
looks alot less contraphobic because you are standing sitting
So when i was younger before my cycle or even afterwards, i haven't been asked to do this? Why do yall have to get pelvic exams at such a young age. I was around 21 when i first got mine. I felt uncomfortable but it didnt hurt.
Needed badly in india
Terrible this is the worst upright mri scan I have seen it. There is so many upright mri scan much much better
