I like the style you use and so I thought I'd follow along but I ran into issues almost on the first line. I can't install google-colab. I've tried everything that co pilot suggests but still get errors with the install and so unless I can get that loaded, I'm unable to follow along. Do you have any suggestions I can try? I've tried both Jupyter Notebook and VS. I've tried python -m pip install --use-pep517 google-colab, I've tried conda install -c conda-forge google-colab and many others - all give the same error deep within some code somewhere but not pip according to the error message.

Would a model need to be retrained for each individual share, or would it be able to make predictions about all shares in general after it had been trained on just one share?

There are so much remaining to learn, but this was some intresting stuff. I learned about LSTM(Long Short Term Memory), taking the data from web directly, preprocessing the data,training the data and also visualizing the data.

No train test split. This is the equivalent of giving the model the answer sheet to the test so you don’t get an accurate picture of model performance
