I had this exact boombox in the 80's - I had problems wit the cassette belt back then.. One issue I remember was that the recordings I made on it always seems to sound great when pl aying back on this boombox but never sounded that good played back on other devices

Hello i like watching your videos because i can learn a lot about boomboxes that i didn't know about, these videos are really usefull and they can teach me a lot of things that are usefull. I have a tevion boombox from my grandpa and its from 2005, a preety old boombox it can play cd's cassettes and radio stations am fm. But the problem im having is that the boombox turns on but there is no sound coming from the speakers, and yesterday i inspected everything every single wire on the speakers everything looks fine i dont know what could be the problem, its giving me a lot of trouble to figure out on my own.

Hi, it’s me again. I did fix my JVCRCM 70 record function. I took it to a audio repair shop but a few weeks ago now maybe you could also help me with this problem my speaker than the left even at the same volume the left sounds the loudest so how would I fix this problem?

So it has that sip songs feature ? That was new technology back in 1983 and only on the better and more expensive boomboxes and tape decks. There’s another model call the F32L and in black and wondering if it’s a later model or earlier.? So the tape plays and you didn’t change the original belt? Of not change the belt, that’s amazing bc most vintage boomboxes don’t work bc the belt is worn out.

Was this a popular boombox and I know it came out in 1983? I saw this other model F32L and it looks just like this one but it’s black. Wondering what’s the difference btwn. those 2 models and which one came out first. Anyway, hope you sold it and thanks for the info.

Thank you for the video, thanks to you I managed to change the 2 belts of my cassette player, they were stretched. For your information, I bought replacement belts on ebay, they are easily found for this model of Sony hi-fi system (CMT-CP100).
