9/1/2024. I'm a mom and was reluctant to change the screen myself, but after watching your video and reading the reviews, I gave it a try. I ordered from Amazon and followed your video from start to finish. I took my time because I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any steps. I followed part 2 and was able to replace the screen, test it before putting all the parts in place, and it worked! I paired it with my new phone and it looks great! 4 hours total Thank you!

Cadillac Dealership wants $1700 to replace the screen for my 2019 Cadillac CTS . Looks like ill be doing it myself. Scared.

Would this fit a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee? I know my screen is different then the 2018's but wondering if this would work since mine is de-laminating.

2019 Ram…just installed mine. Took about 20 minutes. The most difficult part was dealing with the computer ribbons. Those made me nervous. Other than that, piece of cake. I was pleasantly surprised everything worked right away.

Called Uconnect..they replaced my radio last week..dealer installed it and it works great. Would check with Uconnect before you start pulling out your radio and mess something up.

Do you have to worry about this part not being compatible for any reason? Replacing a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT screen for reference.

Cadillac sells the complete assembly for $530 and here the screen only is $500. Why buy aftermarket for the same price, aftermarket screen should not cost 500. This would have been good DIY if the screen was in the range of $100 or less.

used this tutorial with a $50 digitizer off Amazon, couldn't be easier. the hardest part was cleaning all the glue off the LCD, but zippo lighter fluid eats right through adhesives so it was just tedious more than anything

Does this work for a Nissan pathfinder

I just had my 8.4 Uconnect screen digitizer replace and not even an hour later I see it bubbling up in the screen and the buttons are doing ghost touching. What could be the reason for it to bubble up again after I just replaced the digitizer???

Great video gives me hope i can do this work on my KIA forte. I see you guys have the replacement screen for it. When will you get a video tutorial for that screen? Hoping it's just as easy. As soon as a video tutorial is out for that I'm buying the replacement.

Perfect video, have been dealing with this screen issue since our brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee turned 2 years old, from 2020 till today it just got worse each year.. Ordered the 8.4" screen and followed this video, everything is back together and working like original from the showroom floor.. Wont take much to outlast the original lol so we will see, but thank you for the detailed video

This was the most shitass fucking tutorial i have ever watched, just circle the screws that need to be removed, dont show in realtime you removing every single one, the pauses are so unfathomably long and wholly superfluous. For the love of Jesus Christ in Heaven, do not cut to a zoomed in shot of some part of the system, leaving the viewer to figure out where this component of the system is, especially if you expect a viewerbase of people who cannot follow the simple direction of not touching the white cables. While I was successful in my replacement of the screen, and reinstallation of the CUE system, I found that this tutorial, and that which described how to remove/replace the system as a whole, to be very frustrating.

First, you should State that you should disconnect the battery before starting this procedure.2. There are 6 screws holding the arm rest compartment, not 4. At the end of the video, you stated, it's an XDS instead of an X.T.S

I just installed this screen (which I bought from cuescreens) and it does look better than oem and was a relatively easy and quick job. However the screen is only responsive to touch inputs for a few seconds and then doesn't register any inputs. Also when I touched the climate tab it disappeared and hasn't returned. Is there a period of time I need to let it sit to calibrate and configure itself? From the ending of the video and all the comments here it sounds like this should be instantly ready to go. Any help would be appreciated!

Excellent videos. Thank you! My car was not as easy as it looked to get everything off before removing the unit. Had to force most items including the bezel that I thought would break. After that, pretty straight forward. Saved a bunch!

Do you fix these if we ship them out to you ? I have a 7 inch screen for my jeep that needs to be replaced ?

pro tip --- duct tape along the top and bottom to keep it together before you unscrew it so you don't have to worry about it coming apart. Blue tape works great for it also.
