What weights did your ladies use?
Hi Robert, each person used a weight dependent on experience. In the T-Nation's protocol (where I got this workout from, check the link above) they recommend a 16kg for women. However, I found for some this was way too heavy and for others, it was too light. I guess I can't really answer clearly, as I suggested kbell weight to my clients on a case by case basis. It was great and everyone saw some amazing results in a short period of time. Good luck!
comeworkitout is this something that can be done on a caloric deficit for weight loss?
This is a high intensity circuit...I would imagine with a *small* deficit you'd be fine. If you're cutting drastically I'm sure you'd notice that you'd be lacking energy and it would affect your recovery time. What are your workouts currently like?
comeworkitout I'm coming off of about 3 months of not lifting for various reasons and I'm at around 12% body fat right now. I was hoping to do this to maybe cut back down to the 9-10% range so I can start bulking right after.

Hey Corissa, I'm the coordinator of the Victoria KB Sport Classic - registration is open and early bird rates only on until dec 31! Also check out the website www.victoriakettlebellclassic.com for all the competition info. We are using rules from the IUKL -a different KB sport organization from last years event….. Just want to make sure you are aware of all the rules and regulations to help with your training prep. I also have a Facebook event page that i post any new info if you want to see updates to the event, check it out and hope to see you compete in May:)
