Pastry chef on a world food tour.
Hi! My name is Brigitte, and food has always been my passion.
In 2022, after major life changes, my husband and I decided to sell all of our belongings and close our cake shop to embark on a journey of learning about countries through their food.
I'll be in front of the camera doing my best to describe food to make you feel as though you're tasting right along with me.
My husband, who is passionate about creating engaging videos, is behind the camera capturing the food and people we encounter every day.
Together, we aim to seek out new cuisines and food customs to share with you. If you enjoy these food videos, we would love for you to subscribe and help us grow the channel.

Not what I expected! HVAR, CROATIA Full Day of Eating Croatian Food đđ·
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 908PĆed 16 hodinami
Hvar may be known today for it's stunning beauty and luxury but today I'm here for the food! We jumped on a ferry from Split, our homebase for 7 weeks, to Hvar. The stunning island in the Aegean is just under 2 hours from split. When we arrived we were greeted by a festival put on by the Hvar Tourism Board, and we got to try polenta and cuttlefish stew. After a quick hike up to the Fortica Fort...
120 hours in Puerto Rico đ”đ· PUERTO RICAN FOOD Tour!
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 9KPĆed dnem
Join me for a 5 day food tour through Puerto Rico, the birthplace of my mother. On this journey, I'm seeking to connect to my roots a bit more as I taste my way through the island of enchantment. Come with me for lechon on the pork highway in the mountains, to bacalaito fritters on the coast in Piñones, and so much more in between. Sit back, pop open an ice cold Medalla, and enjoy the ride. Wep...

I spent one month in Bologna, Italy. During my time there I learned so much about Northern Italian cuisine and immediately fell in love. One day while I was walking through the Quadrilatero I encountered a Bologna Food Expo and decided to check it out. They had a multitude of vendors in a historic grand ballroom serving food samples to visitors. One of the vendors was from the Bologna Associati...

Door is propped open, the distant ring of an oven timer going off, the hum of a speaker playing tunes. Walking into this bakeshop instantly feels like you've stepped into the kitchen of a bakery. Lucky are the those who get a behind the scenes glimpse of the production of a bakeshop, but here the transparency is front and center. And just before you have the chance to think you've entered throu...

I've been craving a Gyro and boy did Nick's come through. This family run Greek gyro and sandwich shop has been serving locals for 30 years in the Grant Park neighborhood, just outside Downtown Atlanta. Surrounded by shiny new multi-use buildings, Nick's radiates character as one of the last symbols of the old neighborhood that has seen drastic change over the years. Nick's To Go has become the...

Today I'm heading Downtown for some home-style "comfort food" in this family-owned Thai restaurant. The pad see ew was ordered "Thai hot" and they definitely delivered the heat! I've got to say the service was exceptional, too. I'll be back, soon that's for sure. Note: they have another location at Chattahoochee Food Works. TYDE TATE KITCHEN - SOUTH DOWNTOWN g.co/kgs/96Ldarr

Love the vlog!. I'm going here soon and I will definitely try some of these places!!đ
We are in Split on holiday and have been to a few of the places you did on your food tour of Split. We are going to the rest In Hvar to try out the lovely restaurant there. Great channel, always makes me hungry đ
If you return here to Italy, come to Genoa (authentic pesto etc. etc.) and the heights of Sori (fried cheese scones, pansoti in walnut sauce etc.). In Recco (Manuelina) you will be able to taste, especially in the evening, the authentic Recco focaccia with DOP cheese (but only freshly baked from the wood oven, be wary of cheese focaccia produced with electric ovens and sold cold by the slice in many bakeries, unfortunately even in Genoa)
Itâs nice to see an American using a knife and fork together. Your clearly a seasoned full English eater because you mix the ingredients how you want.
Looks yummy â€
It was! :) thanks for watching
Do they have chicken soup?
Not sure but they do have a wonderful onion soup.
@@whatomorrowbrings oh ok. I'll make sure to try the French onion soup when I go there one day. Thanks for the video!

Incredible video. Just what I was looking for. My wife and I are gonna hit up some of these spots on our upcoming Greek Cruise. Thank you!đđ Youâre giving me female Mark Wiens vibes but with your own style and Iâm loving it!
So glad it was helpful! Have a wonderful time in Crete! I was there for a month last year and I assure you the beauty, friendliness, and amazing food will leave a lasting impression. And thanks for you for your kind comment!
If you go to a Pinoy market there in Atlanta, get several n I mean SEVERAL bottles of Lechon Sauce (Brand: Mang Tomas) to add to your pantry. The Filipino pantry always hv soy sauce, vinegar, fish sauce, Knorr Seasoning, Banana Ketchup⊠and Lechon Sauce !!! It goes great with ANY fried food like chix or pork chops ( hehe better than brown gravy !!) Then try Lechon Paksiw ⊠2nd dish frm leftover Lechon (if any left đđ) From LA, CA
I would eat everything on that plate apart from the black pudding i hate that stuff its revolting
This American lady is beautiful and bless her xxxxxxxxxx đ
Thanks for this video. Weâre heading over in August for five days. This video will sure help with our planning

What a wonderful meal, now I am so hungry lol
Ohh you scooped off your plate with the oil and juices!!! I loved you for that, I wanted you to know it!!!!
Nice!! Enjoyed the video. Heading to Bologna again in October. The Onions are only grown in Tropea, CalabriaâŠ.we always buy some for my wifeâs aunt when we visit.
So glad you enjoyed. Hope you have a wonderful time in Bologna in October. I was there around the same time and it was perfect. I will have to visit Tropea, Calabria next time. Thanks for the tip!
Nice videoâŠ.you could tell that you were having a great time and passionate about your trip. Buffalo or Bufala has the accent on the first syllable so BUâ fa lo instead of bu Faâ laâŠ.hopefully you can visit Modena and have some Crema Balsamica on gelati. Enjoy!!
Thanks for the tips! And I look forward to visiting Modena too.

Yay! Thank you!
Omgggg my mouth is watering! Mad new stuff I need to try.
Everything looks so good. I was just in PR. Amazing food. Iâm from nyc and grew up on it â€
Isn't it?! Come to think, a food tour of Puerto Rican food in NY might be interesting đ€. Thanks!
Those are not bananas, they are plantains. Platanos. Bigger and savory and in days it gets yellow Platanos maduros. Bananas are guineos are green guineos and with time they become yellow sweet banana. A lot a peole have difficulty understanding those differences. Some of the things you learn sometimes just by living here in time.
What is your definition of "decadent"??? I mean, what's decadent with a Cornetto..
Characterized by or appealing to self- indulgence. A rich and decadent dessert. - Webster's dictionary. Thus, decadent is a subjective word and has nothing to do with your sensibilities about Cornettos, which appeal to my self-indulgence, very much.
Best hangover sure on earth! đ€Ł I'm more old skool and forego the toast and hash browns for fried bread instead, a lot of people don't eat fried bread anymore because well, it's bread fried in bacon fat so is considered very unhealthy but I have a fried breakfast about once every 2-3 weeks so fried bread is a real treat as I normally eat very healthily, fried bread is the best thing on the plate as it brings everything together and is absolutely delicious!
đ Mmmmmmmm You made a mighty sandwich there ... That looks perfect for brown sauce on the bacon đđđđđđ
Ooh that sounds good! Thanks :)
The best thing about Puerto Rico is that no one bother you with trying to sell you something like in many other places in the Caribbean.
Good point. I wasn't approached by anyone selling things.
Awesome đ
Thanks đ€
