George Martin would agree that these OMD songs really become epic with the Orchestral arrangements. He probably would have had OMD only do their debut recordings this way like the Beatles. The only problem is that it would have changed their sonic profile dramatically and possibly not getting air time.

Do you know how to slowly transition into the filter rather than just immediately pop on when a face is detected? What I'm trying to do is have the filter be delayed by 1 second after a face is detected and then transition from normal non-filtered face to the face deformation and texture. Having a hard time figuring it out.

And how is this not 'aesthetic-driven'? Instagram indeed can be a very toxic place - but how is a project of this scope going to address that toxicity? By providing yet another filter? Another filter to be found amongst smoothing options, blur, cat ears, and bear faces - not exactly groundbreaking. Also, the artists identified the wrong enemy - aesthetics IS not the problem. Aesthetic appreciation has been and will continue to be important from the standpoint of experiencing art and even in broader cultural participation. I'm sorry to say but this is absolute bullocks. It doesn't make any sense - aesthetically, politically or psychologically.
