The paint is done. The separation of mica, suspension fluid, and additives has rendered that type of paint moot

There are two good books out there on the drones. I think they're just entitled as fireflies. Maybe rhymes in the name. I've got the books here someplace but I've got so much stuff I can't remember where it's at. Lots of good pictures. There was one from Vietnam. It was called tomcat and don't remember how many missions it flew before not returning

My dad worked for Ryan over 20 years. I did 14 and change. Love seeing these things wrapped up and shipped off as well as the airframe for the Apache helicopter. Those were good days until Boeing bought McDonald Douglas and took the Apache away from us. bye bye job

so those minis look like they came out of a combat patrol box, thus the photocopied instructions. it seems like you are getting 100$ at full msrp so what ever the price is without discounts. but those handles are 10 to 15 and 5 resin minis is not worth 35$ not good value for money. if it was 2 units out of a combat patrol and some resin minis i could see it.

I had the Revell kit as a kid, both in 1/144 and 1/48; I loved it. For me, it was the OG Stealth Fighter, but as it was a ripoff basically of the Testors design, both Arii and Revell withdrew theirs. Which is why those are much rarer these days... And some RC guys made the F-19 design fly btw. So the aerodynamics actually work! There's a YT clip of it; go look for it 😁

Wouldn't it have been a lot easier to do the mantlet for the main gun whilst assembling the kit ? That way you could have put the magnets behind the gun rather than at the side so it wouldn't droop

As a model builder that wants to build accurate models I appreciate this video but if I wanted to build a accurate Ukraine Abrams what kit would I buy because I built the M1A2 tusk 2 by RFM and it was 100% accurate and I was going off of a Abrams tank book I have but great video I understand your point and I will subscribe and thank you for your service!!!!

Those old kits are the best ,here in Australia we don't get many of those Atlantis kits but as soon as they turn up in shops they are gone .

To fix the last Canon all you would have to do is put a magnet dead center of the back of the ball of the last Canon, and then on the front bracket put a magnet on the inside of it that way the two magnetic poles would keep the glass Cannon pointing straight and you wouldn't have to worry about making it permanent

I bought an F-16 thinking it was MASTER CRAFT ! not a good experience , looks like it was made from 3 kits , even different colours and don't even think about putting the decals on !! Good luck man !! does it have recessed panel lines ??

10:51 I like your video and I’ll be magnetizing one of these for my Krieg when I get time. One thing I did, after years of magnetizing, is make what I call a magnet jig. I took a big 3D printed base that was the wrong size and glued a series of magnets down with labels. When I’m gluing a magnet to a hull or weapon mount, I peel from one stack. When gluing a magnet to a weapon, I peel from that stack. Since making that I haven’t screwed up one polarity. I’ve also become a fan of gluing a big magnet to the inside of the hull for things like a hull mounted gun than drill it out, just saves time when you buy as many models as I do 😆

Any tips for making and painting the Valkyrie? I am starting my second Astra militarum army and I'm planning on a Valkyrie being the first model of my ww2 Japan inspired army. I have very little experience painting on models so any advice would be greatly appreciated

If you just want a clear canopy I would use the clear one buy me I would do the ones you have to paint

Unfortunately my local store is games workshop so proxing is not allowed with nonGW kits which makes sense. The valkyrie reminds me of the Mi-24

I use a few proxies myself, my favorite is using this huey I have from hobby boss as both a valkyrie and vulture.

Great video. Stationforge has been my go to for my guard army. If you like that valkerie you should check out their grimguard SF-19A plane. It makes a great avenger strike fighter or voss pattern lightening fighter.

If you really wanted to to turn this kit into a joke, add a 76mm main gun to the turret, add the side armor plates from a mid- production M4A3, and a hedgerow cutter to the front of the tank. In the immortal words of "The Simpsons" Comic Book Guy, "Worst...Sherman...Model...Kit... Ever."

That is a M1E1 Abrams because the tracks are T156 tracks.
